There can be found many beautiful beaches in the area that are worth visiting and lots of water sports on offer (pedalos, diving, canoeing, and para-sailing, etc). Protaras also offers a plethora of good local and international restaurants and a thriving nightlife in the summer months and all within walking distance from the villa. There is also a water park and aquarium that are great for children of all ages. The water park, the biggest in the Middle East, can be found just outside of Ayia Napa and is only 10km away. The aquarium is a 5-min drive. Within 10 minute's drive, you can get to Golden Coast Fishing Harbour the romantic Sirina Bay or the child-friendly Kalamies Beach. Konnos Bay is 5 minute's drive in the opposite direction while Central Protaras Strip, Fig Tree Bay, and Sunrise Beach are only a few meters away! There is a new coastal walkway that has been built linking Protaras Centre with Pernera. The walk is beautiful and flat making it very accessible with a pram or wheelchair. Along the walkway can be found some stunning little 'secret' restaurants/cafes where you can stop for breakfast/coffee on one’s morning walk, or for sundowners/dinner in the evening. It is the perfect place to sit at the end of the day, just a meter or two from the sea, and watch the sunset. From the apartment, you can easily walk to the Protaras center where most of the restaurants, bars, and cafes are located. Within close distance, you can also find a bus stop nearby with direct links to Ayia Napa.
