This place is basically a private hostel. You will get old thin sheets that fall off the old, uncomfortable bed, small cheap towels, NO soap, no blow dryer (even though we asked and were assured there was one), and condescending communication about the MANY things that were broken… including the lock to the front door of the building. The host was positive we didn’t know how to work the same lock that we had gotten in to the night before. Oh - and the broken blinds that were purposefully left down (host: “you must have pulled it down too far”). But worst of all, was that VRBO took the booking with my Amex which the host doesn’t take. So VRBO told me to pay them in cash upon arrival… which I knew sounded like a scam and I would regret it. We asked to check out at the first signs of trouble, and they refused. We asked for a refund / to check out multiple times. They refused and we had no form of retribution. The view off that patio was not worth all the hassles and cold showers we took.

The apartment and location were brilliant. So handy as most of the buses go straight past the front of the building and you could go anywhere on the island. But the best part was the spectacular view. We spent hours watching the activities on the water and the rock area in front. Only issue was a problem with the keys on checkin ... but the agent sent somebody as soon as they could to sort it out. They were very apologetic. Loved Malta ... and particularly Valletta is just spectacular.
