Gar nichts!

The hotel was totally un-staffed during my three-day stay. I went in and out of the building typing a passcode on a keypad. I picked up and returned my room key at the front desk without any staff present.
It was impossible for me to communicate with anyone at the hotel before or during my stay. I was lucky to have a friend who lives in Regensburg who could phone the hotel reception number. I never received any written communication from the staff, despite my frequent messages, sent using both the Booking.com app and by email.
The person who spoke with my German friend on the phone said they could not speak English, despite English being included as a language spoken in the list of hotel amenities.

The hotel was relatively close to the Central Station and the City Center.
The hotel walls were so thin that I could hear phone alarms and people yawning in the next room at 5 in the morning. The pillow on the bed was so thin I felt I slept on an empty pillowcase.
The shower knob was very difficult to turn on and needed even more strength to turn off, making it difficult to even take a shower.
The room had no curtains, only blinds on the outside that didn't cover the windows completely, so anyone from the parking lot could see inside the room.
As far as safety features are concerned, the smoke alarm was sitting on the windowsill with the battery half-out of it.
There was no staff at reception during any of the time I was there, and that was problematic for a number of reasons. The pin code needed to enter the building wasn't the one I was emailed in the booking confirmation, so I had to call the hotel number to get the right one. The man who answered was very curt and seemed annoyed that I had trouble entering the building.
The wifi password wasn't displayed anywhere, so instead of calling the hotel number and dealing with that curt man again, I didn't have access to the Internet while I stayed there. Also, I ran out of toilet paper, and there was no one at the reception who could ask to bring me more.
The room seemed relatively clean, but there were hairs on the bed and in the bathroom.
All in all, an unpleasant stay.

The location, the stuff, the space, clean, veri silen, free parking etc
A heater in the bathroom can make some good difference.

Reasonably priced
Very lacklustre decor. Some weird stains on the walls.

The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The receptionist checked in with us about arrival time, gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner just around the corner at a wonderful Italian restaurant with great food. The rooms were super clean and the blankets were fluffy and kept us warm. He also gave us recommendations about the Christmas Markets in the area and even knew about a special Christmas Market close to where we actually traveled from. Price- Performance ratio was great. Thank you for the pleasant stay😊
The beds were a bit too hard for my taste, but that's probably my subjective view. The pillows could be either a bit more dense or would need at least 2 pillows per person so you're not having the feeling to fall flat through them. But other than that a wonderful choice

Nothing
all because we didn't even see the room because there was no one at the reception and they didn't answer the phone, so we slept in the car and the money was taken from our card

The owner was available to my calls and SMS, the room was quiet, there was space in the room for everything, I could pull the blinds and regulate the light quite well, the location is quite good also.
My shower head was broken, there was some dirt under the bed even after I required the room to be cleaned, the WiFi did not work really well, the instructions on how to access the hotel were in German (I know it is on me - I should know German! But for some foreigners who are in Germany for the first time this could be an issue).

The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was friendly at check-in and offered local advice. The room was spacious and clean. It's a ways out from the train station, but there is a bus stop a few blocks away. The manager offered a ride back so I had time to get to the Gäubodenvolksfest which I'd learned about on my way in.

No soap nor shampoo in the shower.

I arrived 30 minutes after booking and credit card confirmation, prior midnight. Nobody was at the hotel and nobody answered phone calls on 2 Liste numbers. In the morning hotel guy called me back, shouting at me I must do and that while being quite personal and offensive. I really have traveled the world, this experience in Stadthotel Regensburg was very disturbing.

Hair everywhere, in the bathroom and in the sheets. Not good cleaning.

Friendly and helpful staff, not expensive, free parking.
Very basic rooms that don't have any ambiance. Not much to do in the neighbourhood.

There was nobody in the reception. I could not get in at 6 PM (some guests fortunatly helped me). No password for internet available at reception desk.

comfortable beds, room very clean and specious and very quiet. Not far away from the center, easily done by foot..
TOILET DOOR IS GLASS THAT YOU CAN SEE THROUGH!
I think the hotel should change the toilet doors as soon as possible, I was unable to go to toilet freely, it is like the door doesn't even exist. I was travelling with friends and it was not comfortable for any of us.
