It was generally ok aside the network issues and faulty heater

The network in the room i lodged was very bad. Whichi believe is not fault of theirs.

Great property but poor furniture and fittings

The facade of building look modern and the staff were energetic, professional, polite, and helpful. Maame Tutuwaa was kind enough to bend the rules a little to allow for my earlier check in, Glenn the manager was very receptive at listening to my concerns although nothing was done about it and Edward the caretaker/security was very helpful. He turned on the gas from somewhere within the building so I can cook and bought me local bread for my English breakfast. The open plan lounge kitchen and dinning area is a good idea and makes it feel even more spacious.

So, Nuben Court has had its heyday, during my two day stay: 1) the furniture and internal fittings looked tired and in desperate need of repairs 2) the bedroom door handle was loose 3) the front door lock was faulty 4) the fridge freezer had external stains 5) the sofa was dated 6) the floor rag was in need of cleaning 7) the television only had local channels (no DSTV or cable) and did not have any remote control 8) the washing machine had bits missing from the top and could not sit under the worktop as it should 9) the air conditioning in the lounge was out of order 10) the balcony was dusty but that’s because the access road is dusty 11) some wall plugs were faulty and did not work 12) the toilet bowl was installed almost in the middle of the bathroom with a large wasted space at the back encroaching on the space between the toilet and the shower cubicle, why the builders did not correct this during construction, I have no idea. Would I stay there again in its current condition, definitely not Would I stay there again once its renovated, certainly yes
