NOTHING! I booked to stay at this property but on the day of our check in I was informed by their staff that there was something wrong with the unit we booked and they transferred us to a 2 bedroom unit at Shore Residences. Prior to our arrival I emailed the owner of this property twice at least 2 mos prior because I had concerns about their requirement of giving them our IDs online prior to our stay so they can generate an authorization letter for our stay in the property which they demanded after I paid for our stay in full. I asked booking.com to cancel my reservation because I was not comfortable giving my family’s passport or drivers license info to a complete stranger online but never got a response from the owner or whoever was managing the property for them. I even talked to several booking.com agents about receiving no response from the owner and received a response that they could not contact the owner as well. It was not until the day of our check in that a staff member of this property informed me that they were going to let us stay at Shore Residences because there was something wrong with the unit we reserved at Shell Residences. Our stay at Shore Residences was horrible. The 2 bedroom unit they put us in (unit 10102) had cockroaches crawling on the walls! The bed also had a dead cockroach under the pillow! It was DISGUSTING! It was obvious that they did not clean the unit before we came because there were strands of hair on the beds! I was so upset that I called the staff member who assisted us to that unit and she ended up cleaning the unit herself. They offered to transfer us to a different unit which was a little better but we did not get to transfer until day 3 of our stay and the bed of that unit was so firm it was hard to sleep on it. On the day of our check out I received a call from their staff member that check out was at 11 AM. I had to remind her that the specified check out when we made the reservation on booking.
