Comfortable and quiet (at least on the side we were in). Morning espresso was surprisingly good. Staff friendly. Location great. The smoke detector blinked brightly enough at night to be an issue, and the blinds don't really make the room dark.

Room is tight for two but very comfortable, clean, quiet. Love the coffee/pastry service in the morning.

Great location, lots to do within walking distance. Our room faced Bowery and the street noise was an issue for sleeping. I think that is pretty typical for NYC though. The common spaces were great.

Great property and rooms.

At first glance it can look shady, but once you walk into the mysterious marvel alleyway filled with art and free expression you are welcomed to a cozy place to lay your head.
The staff here are top notch! Even their new hire was a great guy. Our first room had issues witht the heater and they stepped up to make sure my wife and I were comfortable. The issue couldn't be fixed so they upgraded us.
The breakfast of coffee/tea and pastries is simple, but fantastic. Their coffee beans they use are roasted really well and have a nice complexity to it. Where ever they get their parties from is phenomenal.
They only issue is that alley gets popular with tourists and artists, so it can get crowded and blocked quickly at times.
Other than that, this was an enjoyable stay.

Such a great place to stay in the city!

Fantastic. Out room was small but very cozy. Located right in the heart of Lower East Side. Complementary coffee and pastries in the morning were delicious.
Will definitely come back.

Room was small (to be expected) but so clean and one of the better beds I've slept on in NYC. Very satisfied with my stay.

Super cool spot! The front desk staff were amazing and the breakfast pastries and coffee every morning were super tasty. We will definitely be coming back :-)

An excellent hotel, very clean, and very nice staff. The room was small with a bunkbed, but it worked perfectly for us and was very affordable for NYC.

The staff at Untitled is a wonderful group of people. The texting service (customer service) is prompt, the coffee downstairs is delicious, and whoever is sitting at the front desk will be sure to wear a smile! Friendly, upbeat atmosphere, quiet room, would recommend for the single traveler or couple. Not suitable for families due to tight quarters.

Fun place to be. Nice coffee and morning pastries. Staff are very nice and friendly.would be nice if room is a little bit open up. Hopefully if they have a bigger room next time

Great location, on the Bowery edge of the madding crowds of SoHo & Village. Tiny one bedroom but good design. Just don’t expect to get what you paid for: breakfast pastries ran out, public areas were frequently booked for private events and thus unavailable. Staff was nice but underwhelming: a 2 am fire alarm was unpleasant, not technically the staffs fault. But my entire hall was standing in their underwear trying to figure out what to do with no direction from staff. When my partner went down to check, the front desk was chatting away with no sense of needing to explain to guests it was a false alarm. Finally, be very very careful of the long, winding, unlit, pitted, gutted and wrecked concrete of the alley entrance. I badly sprained my ankle walking out one night (fully sober and in low heeled boots at the time). It’s all just a bit too haphazard.

I was drawn to stay at the hotel due to the history of Freeman Alley. The amazingly curated street art appearance in the alley and the hotel along with the staff of the hotel exceeded my expectations.
Russell, the front desk staff, was exceptionally helpful when I needed to borrow a cell phone charger. You know how stressful it can be without having a functioning cell phone during check-out and trying to schedule ride-share services. The decadent complimentary artisan coffee and pastries in the morning were also an added bonus to my stay at the hotel. I would rate my stay 10/10!"

Unique and off the beaten track place. Great for single travelers or couples. Not suitable for kids.

While very minimalistic for this low cost option (ralatively speaking) , proerty has a lot of unique character eg. No coffee facilities in room but excellent free coffee in a cool space downstairs. A genius and massive differentiator for me was solid silverware for tour take-out and cups in the room - a simple but class addition to elevate above the usual plasric stuff in rhe liwer cost bands.

Got me into my room early. Made a customer for life out of the amazing service.

This was my second stay at Untitled. While I like the hotel, 2 whole days of ice cold showers was tough on this stay. I am not talking lukewarm water, it was freezing and unpleasant. I wish the issue ad been addressed faster.

No hot water in the showers over multiple days. Very annoying.

There were documents telling me not to expect housekeeping, but housekeeping was knocking on my door almost incessantly. I was told there would be coffee and pastries, but there was no coffee one day and very limited coffee on other days. An extremely bright LED flashed in strange patterns all night long, visible through my eyelids. The view was a featureless brick wall 18 inches from my window. You couldn't tell day from night by looking outside. Other than that, it was comfortable.

This hotel is an absolute score! We stayed for 2 nights and would definitely book again. The vibe is very cool and exactly what you need for a quick stay -- just roomy enough, great location and clean. Everything is just as pictured. This was the most affordable non-chain option we could find and we were thrilled! We also used spot hero to reserve parking ahead of time and it was only $50/night just a short walk away, so if you need to drive-in, don't let that dissuade you from staying here!

The room and amenities are so well thought of. It’s a comfy, clean, clever little room. All the staff are extremely nice!!

The hotel is very cute! the rooftop bar is nice and our bartender was just exceptional! I love the free coffee available to the guest in the lobby. The reason for the 4 stars is because the rooms are just too small! it was just 2 of us and it felt too uncomfortable to move around. Also, the windows only open slightly so the room can get a bit stuffy. Not sure I would stay here again just for that reason.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, great location and amazing views from rooftop bar.
But! The best part was complimentary coffee and pastries! Ridiculously good!

The Untitled had a very cool vibe, however, is not for everyone. The rooms tiny! They are tiny tiny tiny. But on the upside, they are well equipped, clean, and very comfortable.( I clearly travel with too much luggage) staff was awesome, the hotel clean… great morning coffeehouse with pastry ( piano player on weekends ) the neighborhood is very diverse, really interesting and so many awesome food options. Bikes and subway are close by. Don’t bring a car! Two nights cost us $170 At a nearby parking garage.

Had a great stay, the vibes and location of this hotel was awesome!

Great location off Bowery and we loved the 14th floor room with a balcony. Everyone who assisted us was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.
A couple of cons: as a gluten free person for medical reasons, the pastry option was a bit of a disappointment for “breakfast” but the coffee options were good. The wire hangers on the post drove me crazy because they would fall the second you tried to touch anything hanging. There was also no coffee machine as advertised in the room.

Cool space, friendly staff, perfectly located within reach of multiple subway lines. A perfect home base for exploring the city. Will definitely stay here again.
