Warm and cosy, parking, kitchen and bathroom kitted out, close to village, peaceful, mod cons

It was gorgeous scenery and close to emanates if you needed it

Lovely little cottage with a cosy feel. Comfy beds and enough storage for a short stay. The location is perfect if you're there to hike or enjoy a picturesque village stay with many coffee places, restaurants and pubs 5 minutes walk away. A short 15 minutes drive to Ambleside. The shower was great once I understood that it wasn't electric 😉

In summer time blackout curtains would definitely help sleep longer. I may be more sensitive to light than the majority.

Re: collection of keys - the description implied the key safe was near the FRONT DOOR, when it was near the BACK DOOR. Simply correcting that on the paperwork emailed will resolve the issue. Liked - the location - stone's throw away from Hawkeshead. Lovely and quiet. Nice, light cottage. Spacious. Back yard basks in evening sun.

- One of the handles on the tap needs tightening; - instructions for how to use dishwasher is needed; - would be useful to have instructions for how to use shower. - Shower knob on bath is loose and needs tightening - to enable switch between bath or shower. - Suggest taking off old electric shower unit on wall as disconnected and not in use. - Picnic table in the back yard - couldn't be used by the 4 of us - as felt like it might collapse! Suggest a new, sturdy table - and will be perfect. - No hanging space in the bedrooms for clothes i.e. no hanging rail or wardrobe.
