beautiful location and extremely clean. lovely staff.

Didn’t take advantage of the breakfast so was pretty much just somewhere to store our things and rest or heads while on holiday. Beds were very comfortable, room was very quiet (apart from the seagulls outside but nobody could do anything about that). Would definitely be happy to go again.

A couple of tiny nitpicks… I hadn’t realised we were going to be on the top floor and I have a little problem with my knees so the stairs caused a minor discomfort but can’t really be helped. Second thing: I guess the hot water was shared throughout the whole guesthouse? Twice I had my shower a little later in the morning and had to settle for luke warm water one day and cold the next - lesson: get a shower first thing ;)

Rooms a bit on the small side and ours had a bit of a funny smell at the corner - room 8. Thought we'd, booked a room with a view, but had a backyard panorama. Bit noisy in the morning with work going on nearby, but I guess not the hotel's fault.

Everything went well and suited what we wanted

Brilliant quite hotel with great seaviews and great location to the north bay and town centre. Friendly staff and owners Darrell couldn't do any more for us whilst we stop there

The beds were not comfortable. Over the off season they need to renew the mattress and pillows

Very present stay at the rockside, great location, staff very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was lovely, room very clean with a lovely sea view,

Good position between both the bays and very clean.

The bedroom could have been a bit more cheerful. And the yards from other properties behind were very scruffy and dirty which I know is not ur problem but not nice to look out onto , SORRY.

Lovley service, perfect location 10 minute walk down to South Bay where the children loved with luna Park, arcades and plenty of restaurants and shops. We pretty much walked everywhere, North Bay beach front 5 min walk also would definitely recommend the Waterpark which was roughly 25min walk. Very clean room, and perfect breakfast choice. TV in both rooms, and plenty of clean towels. We stayed in the family suite. The children didn't want to leave. Also only 5 min walk to the Scarborough Castle, absolutely stunning views up there. The staff was very friendly, especially the young gentleman. Beds very comfortable all in all absolutely brilliant stay at the rockside for 5 nights. Thank you.

Everything was fine for us in our two night stay.

Location as had sea view and close to amenities. Good breakfast and choice ..ordered night before and choice of time. Parking on road had voucher scheme which worked well and only £1 a day. Friendly staff.

Disappointed as very small room as could hardly get past bottom of bed. Newish bathroom but no shelf in shower and toilet roll holder came off

We liked the seperate rooms and space, the bathroom was nice and modern and clean.

The family roombcould have been better equipped for a family. For instance there was no coat hooks, could do with a mini fridge for babies milk, high chair...

The room was comfortable lovely sea view. Nice pleasant staff

Great to have a separate room for our children. Very spacious. Bathroom fantastic. Very clean throughout. Super location, could easily walk to the beach or town. Quiet at night. Good view from hotel at the front. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free wi fi.

The stairs. TV a bit small. Breakfast a bit expensive. If it had been a little more reasonable, we would have had breakfast at the hotel.

I appreciated the following covid measures: - pre-ordered breakfast with dedicated slot; - sanitizer in the common areas; - the possibility to have take away food in the dining area; The view was great. The fact that we got the parking permit at arrival without any fuss was convenient.

The room was too small for a family room; The bathroom was not properly cleaned; I understand that rooms are not cleaned during the stay and I believe a better option should be provided for throwing the rubbish instead of asking the guests to use the public street bins.
