About this chalet rental

At the outskirts of the cosy winter sports village of Nendaz . This 8-person chalet was renovated in 2014, has a private sauna and is situated at about 800 meters from the village centre and Tracouet cable car. The ski area of Nendaz offers mainly blue and a number of red slopes and is therefore very suitable for families with children and beginners. The more experienced skiers can take the Tracouet cable car up the Tracouet mountain and ski to Siviez which is the very heart of the Les Quattre Vallées ski area. From Siviez you can therefore head into several directions. It is also optional to reach Siviez by ski bus, which departs from the Tracouet cable-car in Nendaz. There are a number of cosy restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets situated in Nendaz. The village is child-friendly with a number of facilities for children like e.g. children ski schools and day care. At the top of the Tracouet cable-car you'll find ski lifts for children, a snow garden and a snow tube trail. Moreover, there is an ice skating rink and a wellness centre with e.g an indoor swimming pool and several saunas. Chalet has a modern and cosy interior. The living room features large windows offering a beautiful view over the valley and the surrounding mountains. The chalet has a private-sauna as well, offering the chance to truly relax after a long day on the slopes! Moreover, Chalet has e.g. a wood stove, Wi-Fi internet connection, a balcony and a terrace. The chalet can only be reached via a steep, narrow access road, it is therefore recommended to use snow chains. There is parking available at the chalet. What we love about this Chalet? Private balcony with a barbeque grill Wake up to the views of mountains from the bed Beautiful views of the mountains from the Chalet Renovated in 2014, this traditional chalet has been filled with so many rustic but luxury touches, you might be distracted from the business of hitting the slopes of nearby Nendaz. We suggest exploring, however, as on your return a deep standalone bath and the home's private sauna are there to take away any aches and pains. Whether you're visiting in summer or winter, dining tables have been positioned to soak up the Alpine views, through double-height glass windows indoors or on the home's long balcony outdoors. There's room for the whole party to sit and feast on raclette, fondue and barbecued delights. Bedrooms are snug and Swiss, with their sloping beamed ceilings and wooden walls – though the addition of skylights and French doors flood the space with sunshine. For cooler days, there's plenty of room in the living area – light the Scandinavian wood-burner and watch the sun set over the mountains. Layout This chalet is divided over three floors. There is a cosy living room with large windows offering a panoramic view, a sitting corner with TV and DVD-player, a wood stove and a dining table. The modern open kitchen is equipped with e.g. hotplates, a fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, raclette and fondue set and a dishwasher. Moreover, the chalet has a private sauna, washing machine, tumble dryer, Wi-Fi internet connection, ski storage, balcony and a terrace. Three bedrooms with a double bed each, of which one bedroom with a TV and a corner couch. One bedroom with two single beds. Home truths: The home has a charger for an electric car There is reserved parking for two cars in the garage (no larger than 210cm x 250cm) – in winter we recommend fitting snow chains to your car There is a steep narrow path leading to the home, so be careful on approach The gondola to the slopes is a ten-minute walk, or can be reached on a ski shuttle Bedroom Configuration: Bedroom One: King Bed Bedroom Two: Queen Bed Bedroom Three King Bed Bedroom Four: 2x Single bed Extra Activities: Mountain climbing Hiking Swimming Horse Riding Skiing Snowboarding
