Everything was perfect! Beautiful room and bathroom. Jayne and Carl were so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was superb!

Great breakfast everything hot and friendly service

immaculately clean environment, beautifully decorated. The owners were very welcoming and helpful but gave me space (they were always on hand when needed). Perfectly located for me as I was visiting Castlewood vineyard just opposite, a 5 mins drive to the beach. The breakfast far surpassed my expectations - this is like staying in an “up-market” hotel but with added comforts, unique character (home-baked brownies in the room, home/made preserves and local produce for breakfast) and much better value.

Cannot walk to the pub safely as no footpath

We arrived late in the evening to the Spillers Farm for our two night stay and proprietors Jayne & Carl were just so welcoming in spite of ourselves arriving later then they originally expected, although we did call themselves in advance to advise what time to now expect us and our superior en-suite king room was beautifully furnished with a very superb bathroom including a very pretty wash basin with a lovely walk-in shower which was just divine!., with lovely soft towels provided, we couldn't wish for anything more. Also Jayne had kindly left a nice bottle of milk and two bottles of water in the mini fridge and also homemade cookies and chocolates brownies which we really enjoyed as they were absolutely delicious with the wide selection of hot drinks sachets of that they had also kindly provided with a nice little modern kettle for ourselves to use. Also there was plenty of hangers in the wardrobe including two lovely white robes inside for our convince and even two white slip-on slippers in the bathroom cupboard were provided if we had forgotten to bring our own to use and Jayne even brought myself in an iron board with an electric steam iron in order that I could re-press some clothes due to ourselves attending my niece's wedding the very next day at a lovely venue very nearby to their farm. Our son's deluxe en-suite king room was in a separate wing to ourselves and his room also included an additional single bed and a lovely en-suite large shower room including a large shower cubicle inside with soft towels and complimentary toiletries kindly provided with all the additional welcoming treats from Jayne for himself to also enjoy and all our lovely accommodation was just perfect. We completed our breakfast selections from a very wide breakfast menu that evening with a chosen breakfast time and the next morning we enter their lovely breakfast room and enjoyed a very delicious breakfast each served by Carl and perfectly cooked by Jayne.

Nothing at all not to like, although every now and again there was a loud noise coming from the water pipe in the en-suite bathroom, which Carl is now going to investigate further with his plumber, as my husband said that it could be just the water pressure , although he now believes that an airlock in the pipe may have caused this loud noise to occur instead, but I'm sure Carl's plumber will find where this fault is and hopefully resolve this problem quickly for themselves.

Our King Room was spotlessly clean and there were delicious homemade brownies & Easter eggs to welcome us. A very comfortable huge bed and a big bathroom with a large shower & very pretty hand basin. There were also bath robes and slippers left in the cupboard. Breakfast was served to order and was of a very high standard. Carl and Jane were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Also, a range of homemade jams and chutneys that were also delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it and would hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

Jayne is an exceptional cook and hostess. She and Carl are so very kind and welcoming. They have thought of everything! Including cookies, brownies, water, delicious breakfast (served early to accommodate us). Jayne and Carl are farmers who make their own apple juice, jams, jellies, bread, etc. everything was delicious and served so graciously. The room was beautifully decorated. Everything looked brand new including linens and towels. Beautiful bathroom and lovely decor. The setting was gorgeous and the room was warm on a cold spring night. Don’t hesitate, you will not be disappointed!

I didn’t like the motion light in the bathroom during the night because it woke me up.I would prefer something less bright! We saw a floor light in another bnb that worked well

Our host were adorable and very welcoming. The room was spotless with decor that suited the setting and environment that was so tasteful. Breakfast in the morning was gorgeous from the hosts or local produce. Would definitely recommend to anyone this accommodation as well as shall be returning for a future visit.

Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was lovely - with local produce: eggs, bacon, sausages. On arrival we had delicious home made brownies and biscuits in our room - this is a wonderful detail. 😀

Very nice B&B with excellent clean and spacious rooms with modern design. Hosts Jayne and Carl were excellent and very accommodating to any questions. Breakfast was excellent and all locally sourced ingredients! Definitely will go back again

Lovely friendly hosts, very helpful and accomodating with an early check-in whilst attending a wedding near by. Lovely, exceptionally comfortable room, and gorgeous breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Travelled for a wedding at river cottage and location was great for that. Welcome was warm, room was really lovely, very comfortable bed and lovely touches like home made slice of cake waiting. Breakfast was delicious.

Our second stay here and again everything was perfect. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. No price increase either since covid unlike so many others.

Excellent farm style cooked breakfast with delicious homemade jams and fruit juice served with awesome coffee. Jayne and Carl are fantastic warm hosts and provided great recommendations in the local surrounding areas.
