Great location, very clean and really comfortable!!! Excellent communication with host. Will stay again!!!

Pictures were accurate. Villa is very clean, the air conditioners worked really well, and it was a great "home base." The owners left coffee and sugar in the kitchen which was very good. It was a convenient location to many excursions and San Juan. The beach was gorgeous and a 10 minute walk. They have an outdoor shower which we loved. It was fairly cool water but it's so hot out it felt nice. The negatives, not all of which relate to the villa and not all would be important to all guests. 1. We are excellent ocean swimmers but couldn't really enjoy the local beach due to rip currents the entire week we were there. 2. There is no easy place to get healthy food. We found the grocery store lacking in quality fresh fruits and vegetables and no places seemed to have ANY fresh fruit or vegetables. Everything at the hotel was outrageously expensive (water was $8 for a bottle). If you are a "healthy" eater it's difficult to find healthy food options. 3. The refrigerator is old and froze all our lettuce and apples and melon that we did buy at the grocery store. 4. The power went out for three hours one night, and the TV remotes stopped working twice and both really interrupted our stay negatively. 5. We found locating the villa to be a nightmare at the end of a 15 hour travel day and recommended much better directions. Overall we would stay there again, but maybe in a different unit.
