Sherry is absolutely wonderful. She took extra time to ensure that my children enjoyed the stay. She was always just a phone call or text away if we needed anything. She is very quick to respond and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay as much as possible.

We enjoyed our overnight so much! The absolutely best place to stay when visiting The Ark! Host is so kind and welcoming. Cottage is extremely clean and spacious. Decor is beautiful and inspiring. Our favorite part was just being away from everything, under the star filled sky! So quiet and peaceful! Choose this one!!!

We went to visit the ark and this cottage was just perfect for our stay. The host was very hospitable and greeted us and helped us to the cottage. The property included everything that we needed and was spotless! It was roomy inside and provided wide open spaces outside, to say the least, if you have children. We enjoyed the amenities such as Wi-Fi, tv, & the firepit and appreciated that the everyday essentials were provided. Our absolute favorite thing was the beautiful land around the property and seeing the deer and turkeys. Everything was serene and made for a relaxing time. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything about this stay was perfect! Sherry was so easy to communicate with and such a great host! Home was spotless and very close proximity to the Ark Encounter. Home was spacious and the property breathtaking! Homemade banana bread from Sherry on arrival! Beautiful setting and amazing views. Lots of room to spread out and relax. Definitely bringing my family back !

While our stay was short, we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space for my wife and I, as well as all five of our young children. It was perfect for our weekend trip to see the Ark and creation museum. Very secluded and private, with a good view of the Ark from the driveway. 5 stars, will definitely return next time.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the house was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy, easily found and there were so many helpful items that many people forget to bring that were in the house for just that! It was super cool to see the ark from the property, especially at night when it's lit up. We had a blast using the firepit for dinner and s'mores! Sherry made us bread that was absolutely delicious to say the least. It made us wish she had made two! She was very helpful and caring, pointing out where we needed to be careful and where to find her if we had any issues! She was kind, and didn't make us feel like we were being monitored or watched at all times. It was peaceful and quiet. The house is so roomy and we had the best time. We would love to return to her property and absolutely recommend that if you're interested in staying in Kentucky, go to this location! You will not be disappointed.

What a great place to stay and relax with family. And Sherry treats you like family; and you will feel right at home. The first night was a beautiful gathering around the campfire, and we could see the Ark Encounter lights. It's just a beautiful setting and property. We plan (by God's grace) to return to this same spot. Please don't pass up this 'Happy Place'. The property is wonderfully tucked away so you have plenty of privacy, and plenty of open space. The house is a gem as well; we loved the abundance of light, space, and the coziness. Everything was clean and in order. Wonderful. Time stand still. Lovely place quiet . Owner was a very nice lady . Everything we need was provided. The house is clean and spacious. Love the bathroom . Firepit was great . They have a grill . It was a wonderful experience.

The "cottage" was charming and comfortable. Very private and peaceful. Sherry, the host, was very nice and helpful, and made us a delicious loaf of homemade bread. Convenient to The Ark, which is why we were in the area

From start of booking to checking out this was an amazing experience. When it was booked there was a mistake on our end. The owner quickly reached out and had it resolved immediately and went above and beyond. The accommodations were amazing for our family of 7. The kids loved the outdoors, the fire and the extra touches. I will recommend this to any and all family coming to this area. Thank you for letting us stay!!

The property was just as listed. It is a beautiful country setting. The handicap accessible was great for our daughter. Owner was nice and very helpful. It was a wonderful stay!!

Every aspect from start to finish was fabulous! Host reached out immediately and welcomed me. Began with entry onto long driveway to peaceful, serene little slice of heaven on earth! Nothing but country in every direction on this lovely farmland. Breathtaking sunset and sunrise!! Kentucky at its finest; for sure! Sad for a too short visit and too soon having to drive away….

Our family enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and the kids really liked the fire pit & roasting marshmallows. They could get outside and play and be as loud as they wanted.

We really enjoyed our stay at "my happy place" - it was so nice feeling like we were out in the middle of nowhere in such a cute farmhouse in the middle of their property! I loved having accommodations like home and if the weather would have cooperated we would've had a fire too! The host left fresh baked banana bread, which was a nice touch. It was cool being close enough to see the ark from the property. We all really enjoyed the stay. One of our kiddos has severe autism, so it's nearly impossible to stay at a normal hotel, because of noise / being so active throughout the night, so this was the first time we were able to get away in a while as a whole family and it was wonderful. We highly recommend it!
