We have furnished this cheerful townhouse to embrace the nautical heritage of Mystic. Perfect for families, we have bunk beds inspired by the officer's quarters in Mystic Seaport's flagship, the Charles W. Morgan. Immerse yourselves in the charms of Mystic, and this beautiful historic townhouse. Recently renovated and updated, this is a charming historic townhouse, called the Avery Suite, with modern luxuries in downtown Mystic. Our home is perfect for families, friends and foodies. The first floor layout was designed with gatherings in mind. From the chef's kitchen and ample dining area to the family room, the space flows to the private patio in back. Whether preparing your own meal on the grill, in the oven, or picking up take out from the many restaurants in town, it's the perfect inside/outside entertaining space! Sure, we're biased. But this townhouse has the best of both worlds: sunlit indoor rooms, meticulously restored and furnished to embrace its history with a funky twist. The aforementioned outdoor space is perfect for entertaining, reading, working or just lying around....You decide whether you want sun or shade! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basics and equipment you need - we provide those little "essentials" like a coffee maker and blender/juicer, coffee, tea, creamer along with condiments and basics. There are three bedrooms and with two full bathrooms located on the 2nd floor. The 3rd Bedroom was inspired by the Mates cabin in the famous Charles W. Morgan at the Seaport. The entire home has high speed WIFI access and smart TVs in every room for your Netflix/Prime Video and other subscription accounts. Also there is an Amazon Alexa/Sonos system. The family and dining rooms are spacious and cozy, and a great place to enjoy gathering with family and friends. After dinner take a short walk (3-5 minutes) downtown for the "best ice cream in CT" or see the famous Mystic River Bascule drawbridge, which opens every 40 minutes on the hour in the summer months.

We had a simply wonderful stay at the Avery property in Mystic. The house was impeccably clean as was Gerard’s other property we rented last August. The house is very comfortable and has a great dining area! The bedrooms are comfortable as are the bathrooms. The location was great and we had a very short walk to the bridge and shops as well as to the viewing areas for the boat parade! We will most definitely rent from Great Gull again and again!

We liked the location as it is in walking of all downtown Mystic and on the outskirts enough~ It’s basically 2 masters with bathrm attached, loved that in addition to the twin room. Plenty of living space and large kitchen for our group. Very well decorated and comfortable~ Everyone was able to adjust the temperature in their own room as needed and with four women with variety of likes that made it comfortable for all. Attention to detail with all new accoutrement~ Host is extremely attentive~ Thank you for our time and your details!!

Met my sister-in-law for a 3-day getaway. We had fabulous weather in Mystic. The unit was perfectly located, spotless and very well appointed. We had a great time exploring the area. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Great spot that is a short walk from downtown, the maritime museum, a small playground, and many restaurants. Also less than a 30 minute drive to serval nice beaches in RI. House had all the normal amenities to keep the kids entertained when we were in the house and a good kitchen to cook family meals if desired. Only nitpick would be the bedroom pillows. If you are not a fan of very firm pillows you may want yo bring your. Would certainly stay here again.
