This hotel is comfortable, clean, and new. The included breakfast is just right and the staff are friendly. I couldnt ask for a better hotel when visiting family in the area.

We booked a last minute trip to spend time in nearby Tarpon Springs and the Comfort Inn & Suites was an affordable option with good reviews. Hotel looked as expected, staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable. We would stay here again.

WE stayed there 2 nights the rate for the first night was $140.00 then the seceond night was $240.00 not happy with the rate at all.

Good but trouble with parking

The hotel is perfectly located near the downhill area and walking to everything. Where I have pause in recommending this hotel was they have a policy of scanning your identification where they keep it in file always. This not secure and I’m afraid of my information being stolen. They would not make any accommodation. Based on that, unfortunately I will not return.

This will be my go-to when I'm next in NPR. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout my stay, to include helping me with reservation issues. It's in immaculate shape, the rooms are spacious and well-designed to accommodate my luggage and clothing. From the hotel, it's a nice walk to downtown NPR. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

Our stay at The Comfort Inn and Suites in New Port Richey was among the best hotel experiences we have ever had! Traveling with a wheelchair has its challenges and the staff at this hotel met every single one of them. We had originally booked a room marked as “accessible” but after arriving and speaking to staff, realized the room was still missing some of the elements that we required. The staff went out of their way to move us to a more accommodating room and even went to the store, purchased, and put together a shower chair for my husband so that we would have what we needed. Maintenance always responded timely if there was an issue and the desk clerks always greeted us with smiles and kind words anytime we passed by. I can’t tell you how much this type of service has been lacking in hotels lately. This is the level of treatment you would expect from a luxury resort. The free hot breakfast could stand to have more of a variety and an additional person on staff as it stayed busy and needed to be refilled often. We also found the coffee pot in the lobby to be empty as well as the creamer, which unfortunately we required a lot of as we were in town to visit a family member in the hospital all day every day til late at night. There is a coffee maker in the room but nothing beats fresh coffee! However, we loved our stay and we would definitely choose this location again! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

Hotel appears new, very nice condition. Was expecting continental breakfast but was surprised there were eggs and a meat option each day. Parking spaces are insufficient for the number of rooms but there is a free municipal parking garage directly behind the hotel. Exterior and room doors all close with excessively loud noise. Not sure what could be done about that but maybe " slow close" hardware?

Why are a very limited number of rooms equipped with grab bars in the showers? This area has a high number of retired visitors and they should be able to have the security of safety in their shower.

Amy, the property Manager made this experience worse for my wife and daughter. In a town where they were unfamiliar with,the property manager decided to cancel the prepaid reservation because supposedly she didn’t find the reservation in the system. Amy told my wife while I was on the phone talking to my wife that she didn’t need to be there and did not even want to speak to me nor my wife. Needless to say my wife and daughter where in unknown territory at almost midnight lost and nowhere to go because of Amy. If this is the Management I could imagine the rest of her direct reports. I ended up getting a hotel last minute in Wesley Chapels where my wife had to drive another 30 minutes after driving for 4.5 hours to get a decent night sleep for a conference that morning. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced ever!! We will NEVER touch or stay anywhere near another comfort inn even if it’s the last one.left in the world! Amy thanks for ruining our trip and the memories in the New Port Richie area.
