The room was a non smoking room but had a musty odor and the smell of some sort of incense to cover it up. It was very difficult to breathe or sleep as the smell was extremely overwhelming. The location was great and easy to get on/off the freeway.

I don't normally leave feedback whether positive or negative, but was disappointed with this stay. I never care whether the room is dated, but only that the bed is clean. That being said, I entered my non-smoking room and the smell of cigarettes was constant. I lifted up the toilet seat to use the rest room and the toilet lid was filthy. I could have requested another room but didn't feel like re-packing up all my crap. Just not a great experience.

We didn't really know what to expect for our stay at the Georgetown Lodge, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The front desk attendants (evening & morning) were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
We reserved a bedroom that could accommodate 4 adults and 1 dog. The room was very clean and stocked with adequate towels/wash cloths. The bunk bed was perfect, as we had a teen-age exchange student with us who took the top bunk. I slept on the bottom bunk, and the husband/wife in our party took the main bed. It was perfect.
We were also able to take a breif tour of the surrounding town before getting some rest before heading to Leadville the next morning.

The highlight was the cost, as it was cheaper than most other options as well as its proximity to the interstate. Check-in was a breeze and the bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast options left a lot to be desired. The shower was the worst part. It is either freezing cold or scalding hot. Once I did find a luke warm temperature, it would change back and forth from hot to cold every ten seconds or so. Walls and ceilings are also very thin. We could here conversations and televisions, especially through the suite doors.

We stay at the Georgetown lodge for a skiing weekend. We are not picky guests, but this place was gross. The room was very smelly of cigarette smoke and body odor. One of the comforters had a cigarette burn hole on it. The bathroom was dirty with human hairs all over the floor, the bathtub water did not drain property. We did not even bother asking for another room because the whole place was run down. We paid over $200 a night for this place. Upon returning home we had to wash all of our clothes due to the gross smell. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save youreself the aggrevation and stay somewhere else.

The service was poor and did not understand the billing on our booking. The room was dirty and the bedspreads both had cigarette holes in them and the top cover was dirty. This place was dirty throughout.

Thin walls. Super noisy at night. Bathtub had hair in it, didn’t drain and carpet was dirty.

Overall great value during ski season to stay within 1 hour of many slopes without paying resort prices.

Great location, right off the highway and close to food and a brewery. The breakfast waffles were great and the staff was fun and we had some good laughs. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay with breakfast included, I highly recommend Georgetown Lodge. The building is also a cool piece of history.

Upon arrival at around 5:00pm, there was not a single car in the parking lot, kind of strange. Then upon walking in, the place was deserted, no one behind the counter. Did not see a soul fror 30 minutes and that is even after calling the managers ph number. Other customers also arrived and were just as surprised as to our situation. Finally, we got checket in into our room....only to find the hardest bed I have ever found in any lodging accomodation in all my travels. The bathroom did not look very clean, we even skip showering that nigh...all that for $150...not going back for sure...

For the price, it was worth the stay. Nice spot to access Loveland Ski Area that is pet friendly. It’s a bit old, but the bed was comfortable after a hard day of skiing.

Great little lodge close to a great restaurant. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable but we were on the groind floor and there was someone above us. The walls are thin - impossible to sleep while they are walking around.

Overall decent place to stay but very outdated. Bed felt like a rock and sheets look like they haven’t been washed/cleaned in a while. Price for the stay was way too high in my opinion compared to price of nice hotel in the city. Overall would return as a decent resting stop for a night.

Staff was nice but the place wreaked of smoke and the carpet needed replacement. This place needs a major renovation. Needed a bleach bath after I left. Staff was absolutely wonderful tho!!!

There is no sound deadening between rooms. The lady next door to us was having a very good time in bed. Every 15 minutes. Also the carpeting had a huge tear in it and half the baseboards were missing. The bathroom was very small. I couldn't close the door and sit on the toilet. The building we were in faced the highway and could hear every car go by.

Great place to stay! Made our ski weekend much more convenient and it was just what we needed. Nothing fancy - but easy and comfy.

I accidentally left my purse in the parking lot of the hotel at 7am. One of the staff found it and it was safely behind the front desk when i returned for it 5 hrs later. Wonderful honest people. Thank you!

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I had made a reservation on Expedia late at night, and I was told it might take 45 minutes for that to be received by the hotel. The desk clerk let me into the room without confirmation, believing me. As it was late and I was beat, that was very welcome. Don't pass this up.

This property is old and worn down. We had what used to be a smoking room and the smell was just awful. Our sink was clogged and the carpet was beyond nasty. The door didn't shut without being slammed and the wind rattled the door all night.

Employees were kind and friendly. The property was very clean but outdated. I don’t mind that, but just an fyi if you do. The mattress was extremely firm and neither my husband or I got much sleep because of that. Again, that’s a preference but if you can’t sleep on firm beds this is your fyi!!! I wish I had known that so I’m putting it here for others. Overall was a quaint little spot, and would go back if it wasn’t for the bed!

It was fine. The bed was great and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty bare-bones, but nice to have. It was overall pretty good for the price, and being close to the highway was surprisingly not too noisy.
