A haven for golfing, fishing, and river activities of all sorts, this home welcomes you back from your adventures with a private hot tub and beautiful living spaces inside and out. This two-story, mid-century home boasts an enviable location in the Audubon-Downriver neighborhood, right across the street from the golf course. It's a few minutes' drive to a river access point for swimming, rafting, and fly fishing, and less than a mile to the Downriver Disc Golf Course. Begin each morning with coffee outside on the back deck, where you'll find cushioned seating and a view of the landscaped yard. It's a lovely spot to return to throughout the day, whether you're barbecuing dinner on the gas grill, roasting marshmallows around the firepit, or stargazing in the warmth of the hot tub. Built in 1954, the house is full of mid-century style, from the large windows and clean lines to the accents of natural wood and brick. The main floor features a sleek kitchen with updated appliances (including a gas range and a French-door fridge), a formal dining room, and a living room overlooking the river with a TV (offering both cable and streaming capability). A den awaits upstairs with a cozy sectional, another TV, and the perfect spot to play board games. Additional features of the house include central air, complimentary WiFi, a washer/dryer, and both a Pack 'N Play and high chair for families with children. THINGS TO KNOW Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Security camera details: There are two surveillance cameras located at the front and back doors of the house, both facing outwards. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The set up was great. Loved the design of the house. Beautiful view from the windows. Did not use the backyard or hot tub but it looks great. We were not a fan of the pillows. To BIG and no one liked king sized pillows. If we were to come back we would bring our own. The bathroom towels were horrid. Number one they did not dry you and two they shed all over our skin. I had to shower off again and use a hand towel because it didn’t shed like the bath towels.
