On the ranch are different animals, perfect for children, the nice beach is 2 min walking distance. Bridgette is always around with all the tips we needed. She is also offering horse touts, chocolate tour and other activities. There are three sloths on her ranch. We have a nice terrace with outside kitchen.

Une maison en autonomie à proximité directe de la plage, restaurant et bar. Tout le confort est réuni ici

In front of the black beach. The staff are very friendly and personable. Breakfast included. I was upgraded to a cabin for the first 2 nights. Brigitte herself is a great hostess. Pretty silenced at night except for Friday until only 1am and it was good music outside. I definitely would stay here again.
Wifi sometimes is a mess, hit or miss.(biggest problem for me, since I didn't have data)
The floor of the bathroom in the cabin was somewhat flooded(first 2 nights when I entered)

We stayed in “Magic” cabin in Brigette’s garden. It was in the middle of jungle/garden and it was very private with wildlife all around us.
It was very hot and humid but that cannot be helped.

The breakfast was amazing. The property is close to the beach. The staff was always helpful.
Loud in the evening, because of a bar that was close by.

I loved the secluded location and quiet time!
It was all good!

It was a pleasure to stay at Brigitte's Ranch. The people working there love to show you the sloths and colourfull frogs at te terrain. You can walk to the Reggae bar in a minute to grab a beer and there are hammocks at the accomodation. We also did the Night Tour by Brigitte's, which we really reccommend! You will see plenty of frogs, snakes, beautifull insects and mammals.

Big breakfasts that are fantastic, with delicious coffee. The cabins were beautiful, with comfy beds and fluffy towels. We had better bird & animal watching from the cabin porch than we did on our ecotour in Arenal! And we saw sloths and poison dart frogs just hanging around the breakfast location. The hot tub seemed like an odd touch at first, but filled with cool water it was a great way to get refreshed. We loved our stay!
Very minor… I wasn’t aware that the restaurant and the cabin were not on the same property. Since we had a car, though, this was not a problem, but perhaps this could be a little clearer on the Booking.com listing.

I liked the surrounding nature and animals, it was clean and a convivial place. although not many rooms, there is always nice people about. The food is good and Brigitte and all the team are just lovely, you see everyone seems happy there. T
he place really grew on me and ended up wanting to stay a little longer.
Would avoid the friday unless you like to party, there is reggae bar not too far, and they blast music quite loud on fridays, so either you go there and party or you go there and party 😄🤔 Not unique to that place though this is the case in most well located place along the caraibeans

The cabin is really nice. It has everything is needed (hot shower, bathroom, small kitchenette), terrace with hammock and private parking. We had nice breakfast with coffee at the little cafe on the property. In the morning we watched two howling monkeys and one sloth that was sleeping on the tree right next to our cabin. There is a 3 minutes walk to the beach and local restaurant. Negro Beach is also very close. Brigitte also offered us a cacao tour and it was great - we prepared cacao beans and made a hot chocolate on this tour! I absolutely loved it. We spent there only one night, when should be at least three! There is s much to do!
The only one thing was kind of inconvenient the loud music coming from the nearby restaurant. But we were so tired from the day activities that it did not bother us at all. It did not even bother the Sloth that lives on the tree at the Brigittes place!

Briggite is a lovely lady who was super friendly and helpful (especially as I had messed up my dates, she sorted me out with alternative accommodation for the first night) but the room we got at the Ranch wasn't what I viewed on the website. I was expecting a large room with a bright open space/terrace but we got put in a very small/ old fashioned style backpacker type room. On the plus side there was a sloth in the tree outside our door and the vegan breakfast was very tasty.
The room was small and dark

We had our own private shower, it's super close to the beach, the staff was very nice and the environment is very chill. There's horses, chickens and a sloth that usually stays on the trees there around. It's very close to the raggae bar where there's love music on Friday!
There was no bathroom door but only a curtain, nothing to bad but the rest was super!

Excellent place, very close to the beach.
A sloth and frogs in the garden.
Having rest in hammocks with view to cocoa trees.
Noice from the beach in late evening and early morning, but the host was very helpfull and moved us to a quite cabin.

We had an amazing time in Cahuita, Brigitte is very kind and helpful and makes the best breakfast :) Cabins were nice and comfy, the place surrounded by trees and near the beach is wonderful. Highly recommended!

Location is great, and just a few meters from the beach. Such a cool area with plenty of restaurants/bars close by. Authentic Caribbean bungalow style huts surrounded by natural beauty. It was magical, like time stood still. Great breakfast served in the morning with a perfect sunny side up farm eggs and banana pancakes.
Not exactly a ranch per se. The ranch was another property. It was much smaller than we imagined, but there were horses and chickens on property, which could be a bit stinky. Although a little misleading, it was totally worth it and we would recommend.

Great value for money, nicely positioned close to the beach. Really nice staff, we did the night tour and enjoyed it a lot.
The furniture is not the newest and everything is quite basic. So dont expect a luxury resort ;)

great location! right across from a beautiful beach and a short walk to downtown and the national park. the price was also fantastic! we had an amazing time on the horseback riding tour, our guides Jess and Raul made it really special.
the owner did not give us any information about the area and when we asked her questions we felt dismissed. for example my partner asked where he could get a SIM card, he was spreading his moms ashes and wanted to FaceTime his brother. Brigette wasn’t sure but made no effort to help us find a place whereas a brand new staff member that was working at the property went out of her way. we greatly appreciated this however we’re a bit disappointed with the treatment from the property owner. overall we still had a great stay!

The location, the patio and hot tub.
There could be a couple more towels and a hand towel as well as shower gel and shampoo. There was a coffee machine but no coffee.
