About this house rental

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at Siren of the Cape. Siren of the Cape is the oldest house in Cape Charles built in 1883 and fully renovated 2022-23. Located directly on Mason Ave (Main St) you are steps away from restaurants and shopping and a straight shot to the town pier and beach access. Featuring 4 Bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths this fully renovated property offers all modern amenities along with outdoor dining and entertainment areas along with easy parking. The home fits a maximum of 8 adults and that would be two smaller adults utilizing the bottom bunk beds and two utilizing the full bed that is located downstairs. (Adults are not allowed to use the top bunks) 6 Adults and 4 Children is what the home is setup for. Entering the property from the front door you will have the stair case straight ahead of you and can either turn to the right and enter our cozy living room or to the left to the dining room. The dining room is open to the kitchen which features a full dining room table and breakfast bar area that looks onto the kitchen. Off the kitchen is our downstairs bedroom which features a twin bed and full bathroom with walk in shower. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom that serves all bedrooms. Primary bedroom is a good size with queen bed. Our guest bed also features a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom is a bunk room with 2 bunks sleeping 4 kids. The upstairs bathroom features a double vanity, full tub with shower, water closet, and full size laundry. Under the TV in the cabinent in the living room are board games and family activites. Though our property has been fully updated it was originally built in 1883. The ceiling height is lower then normal as well as doorways. If you are over 6’5” you will feel taller then normal. Also our steps are original and are steeper then modern steps. Entire property - house, front and rear yard. Our property is right on Mason Avenue which is Cape Charles Main Street. Great parking in front of house on both sides of the road. We even have a small driveway as well. Our house is very walkable to all of Cape Charles shopping and entertainment. Note: This is a Smoke Free Home - No Smoking will be permitted on the property.

Cape Charles is a beautiful quaint Cheseapeake Bay town! Nice shops and places to eat. We rented the golf cart during our stay. It made getting around east! We highly recommend the Cape Charles Brewery. Great food and craft beers.
