We were in a brand new 3 bedroom apartment at Resident Alhena. Size and cleanliness of the apartment was excellent. Loved the location which was ski in and out. Loved the Pool and relaxation area.
As the Residence Alhena had only been opened for a few weeks there was no information booklet in the apartment but the staff were very helpful in answering all our questions. I am sure that in due course information booklets will be available in the apartments.

Ski-in ski-out was incredible! The ability to clip on your skis within just a few steps of the door was first class!
Nothing, we loved it!

Location
We stayed last year with the same hotel group in an other residence which was just fabulous. That was the reason that we were glad to book again, but now at the Alhena. We came to the conclusion that our stay had nothing to do with the high quality of last year. The residence just opened and wherever you looked you saw unfinished construction. OK for me but besides that a lot of services were not functioning properly. We understand that we booked in high season in one of the busiest weeks of the year in a just opened residence. Maybe because of that the arrival was chaotic and the whole stay was far under level. After finally getting the key we found out that the apartment (kitchen) was not well cleaned (we did it ourselves). The seats had spots of red paste sauce and other marks on the couch. Some of the kitchen cabinets had no shelves (yet) which results in no storage and one big mountain of kitchen equipment in a cabinet. Toiletries where limited. Last year we got hair shampoo, body shampoo and body lotion. Now we found, as in cheap hotels, one botlle nailed to the wall and no shampoo for hair or body lotion. Then the ski room. Last year we where stepping in nice warm ski boots and putting our warm gloves in the mourning. This year it was not functioning well with the result that we where putting every day our wet/cold shoes and gloves. Very disappointing as we know how it has to be. We told this to the reception but again they had no idea how to solve it. Same for the Spa area. Half the week of our stay the jacuzzi was not working properly. The location is fantastic on the slopes of the piste but the road to the hotel was not cleaned from snow. We saw at least 3 cars in 2 days who could not manage to get up to the parking (with winter tires). By leaving there was a lot of snow. Reception did not know if or when they clean the road. The place has a lot of potential, probably after they make everything fixed and working. For now very bad price/quality

The location was great. Could ski right up to the boot room door at the end of the day. On a morning we could ski to several lifts from the hotel, which were all within view and easy accessible.
The spa was lovely and a welcome relief at the end of a hard day skiing. It had a steam room, sauna, Nordic cold bath, jacuzzi and sensory showers.
The hotel had a very nice restaurant and there are several restaurants nearby.
Our apartment was very tasteful and spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable.
