Here's the thing, electricity doesn't come cheap in the Dominican Republic. We're all for living the good life and cranking that A/C, but if you go overboard, you'll be hit with an extra fee. The average energy usage is 12Kwht per day, so please be mindful and avoid breaking the bank. Otherwise, we'll be charging you an arm and a leg - or rather, 30 cents per Kwht. Yikes! Last but not least, if you're the type to forget your towel or phone charger, we've got you covered - for a price. Missing items like these will be subject to additional charges, so try not to leave anything behind or replace it with ours.
