Mirror in room would have been useful

So herzlich wurden wir auf unserer Pilgerreise nirgends sonst empfangen. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Betten sind bequem, es gibt wunderbare Handtücher und im Bad ist von Wattestäbcjen bis Haarkuren alles vorhanden. Am Morgen bekommt man noch einen Kaffee bevor man aufbricht. Wunderbar! Noch einmal herzlichen Dank! Mucho obrigada! 🫶

Nichts. Es war einfach herzlich und perfekt

We had to book Casa da Clô at very short notice when our group of 6 was let down very badly by Guesthouse D’Avenida who without any prior notice unilaterally cancelled our fully paid for reservation of 3 rooms made as long ago as February 2023 just hours before we were due to arrive. We had left our previous night’s accommodation and were already walking towards Vila Praia de Âncora when an e-mail was received advising of the cancellation. Our new hosts José and Sandra at Casa da Clô couldn’t have been more helpful and co-operative in a very stressful situation, particularly as one of our group was very sick with a stomach bug. They were welcoming and attentive, taking our luggage into the rooms for us after we had to collect them from Guesthouse D’Avenida where they had been delivered by Caminofacil.. The property was well appointed and comfortable, although not on the main sea promenade which probably made for a quieter night’s sleep!
