The hotel was secure, clean and modern. It is in close proximity to the old town by foot. Parking was arranged nearby and was well managed. The breakfast and coffee was great.

The area has high humidity but the aircon in the room dripped water into the room. Just poor installation.

El hotel es hermoso, cuida cada detalle, la atención del personal es excelente, todos muy amables y pendientes de los huéspedes, esta muy bien ubicado, muy tranquilo, un sitio perfecto para descansar.

Schönes historisches Hotel im Zentrum von Mompox. Der Name ist Programm, überall begegnet man Büchern. Dabei solche Perlen wie 100 Jahre Einsamkeit von Garcia Marquez, das Tagebuch von Anne Frank oder Don Quijote. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sein Auto stellt man auf einem bewachten Parkplatz ab. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück ist typisch kolumbianisch, kein Buffet.

Zum Frühstück gibt es ein Glas Jugo de corozo, eigentlich ein sehr leckeres Getränk. Es hat leider deutlich zuviel Wasser, bzw. zuwenig Fruchtsaft und kaum Zucker. Kaffee gab es nur auf Nachfrage, ebenso Butter, Zucker, Salz und Pfeffer.

Es un hotel muy nuevo, bien ubicado. El personal se esmeró para que nuestra estancia fuera muy placentera. No queríamos irnos! Nos encantó.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!! Great installations, very pretty… there was a power outage during our stay but the hotel responded very quickly by turning on their generator. The style is very antique and beautiful, so historical! The staff was super nice, helpful and polite. My husband, our puppy and I will definitely stay here again.

I wish it was closer to river area but we knew this when booking so it was not a surprise, but totally worth staying here regardless.
