The front glass wall in the living room can be completely opened. It was spectacular to have the fresh air, the sounds of the waves, truly an indoor/outdoor experience. The location is exceptional; just steps to the ocean. The home feels spacious with high ceilings, a massive bathroom/shower. I was traveling alone, I liked that the home feels private. It’s on a little lane with other smaller cottages. It was great to get to know the others staying. We all looked out for each other; it was such a nice little neighborhood feeling. The bed was comfortable, the first night I slept 13 hours! I like that the home has a keypad so I didn’t have to keep up with a physical key. It was great to park my vehicle right beside the house in a private spot. There are beach chairs available, beach towels, and plenty of regular towels as well. It has a washer dryer all in one which was convenient. I had to buy laundry detergent but that was ok. A couple days worth of K-cups for the Keurig were provided. It was nice not to have to go out and buy coffee the first day. There is a blue heron that comes every morning and evening to the unit next-door. They have named him Charlie, it was so great to see him up close.

There is a nightlight built into the wall switch of the bedroom. It was extremely bright and I had to figure out a way to cover it up so I could sleep. I did not like that at all. However, it may be great for other people. I wish the living room sofa had sheets. (I imagine a set of Queen sheets would fit) It becomes this big bed which is wonderful to lay on with the whole front of the house open. It’s like you are napping on the beach. There was no soap provided for the bathroom to wash your hands. I found about a quarter of a bottle under the kitchen sink that I put in the bathroom, and bought another bottle of soap which I left at the property for the next guest. There were no lamps in the house only overhead lights. I purchased a lamp and left it there. The main door that you enter does not feel super secure. It locks but because of the way the door is built I think it would be pretty easy to break in. However, the neighborhood felt safe so I didn’t worry too much about that.
