I liked that it didn’t have a generic type of decor, but was throughly individual and “honest” in its presentation. (What other holiday-let has a dolls’ house in it, made by the father of the owner? Or pottery pieces made by the mother?) It was extremely well equipped, plus had complementary items. The views from the top floor were lovely. There was a personal very warm welcome from the owner, who showed me how to work the heating and answer a couple of queries I had. It is located in the Main Street and is a short walk to every amenity, in a village full of interest and history.

I can’t think of anything that offended me. The toilet cistern had just been replaced and had teething problems, but we discussed this and found a way to manage the situation.
