I travel a lot for business and I like to keep my footprint small, budget under £100 and go for ratings above 8 and 3* above. You can find jewels across the UK and this looked to be one of them. The room was clean, that was about all I can say positively about the place.

The bathroom light didn't work, and the shower had no power, literally a trickle, so couldn't have one, had to just wash my hair. The curtains were closed, opened them to find a courtyard full of rubbish, no locks on the windows so couldn't open them for safety reasons. Then the noise. From 2030hrs till 2310 the room upstairs, walking up and down, closing, opening drawers, relentless and very loud. I messaged the property, I got texts saying they would tell them, didn't happen. I was knackered and fell asleep with a pillow over my head and my phone playing white noise. It started again at 0450 and didn't stop till I got up and went to work and slept in the car/carpark. Texts from the owner asking me not to leave a review and he would give me a discount on my next stay, made me laugh all the way back North. I would be doing a disservice to you who work away from home. My advice?? AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID
