Welcome to The Forest Chalet! Bring your family and friends to enjoy all that the Poconos have to offer in our 2,600+ square foot newly renovated 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home plus additional sleeping spaces to accommodate you and all your guests. Adventure through the Pocono Mountains, hiking trails, natural landmarks, and attractions. Then come home and relax in our hot tub, prepare dinner in our fully stocked kitchen with multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas, warm up in front of our gas fireplace, and end the night in our game room or have a glass of wine and watch a movie on our new 85 inch TV. The home is situated in the private community of Towamensing Trails, which offers a 194 acre lake with a private sandy beach, pool (seasonal), volleyball, basketball & tennis courts, playground, clubhouse, snack bar & arcade. The home itself has 3 levels of living with comfortable space for up to 10 guests. Main Level: The main level of the cabin has a Kitchen with breakfast counter, Dining Room with a table to seat 10 guests, Living Room, Laundry Room. Bedroom 1 / Master : King Bed with en suite full Bathroom This bathroom has two access points. 1 from the master suite and 1 from the kitchen Access to a large wraparound deck Top Level: The top level of the chalet features a loft with a large desk to get some last-minute work done or answer a quick email. You can also disconnect and read a book in our reading nook. The loft also holds a queen sized murphy bed for additional sleeping space. Bedroom 2: Two twin beds. Bedroom 3: Queen Bed Full Bathroom with Tub Loft space: Queen murphy bed Lower Level: The entertainer’s dream. Relax and watch a movie with our brand new 85-inch tv or play arcade games. There is easy access to the outdoors where you can enjoy our hot tub or quickly set up a net for pickleball or pop a shot basketball. This house was great! Our group age ranged from 1-40 and everyone was equally satisfied. House was immaculate and stocked with all the essentials. I would definitely stay here again.

Property was clean, and as advertised. John is very responsive and a pleasure to interact with. The house is beautiful and has everything you need to a comfortable stay. Wish the beds were a bit more comfortable, but that's the only negative I can say.

We had a wonderful stay. My wife and I, 2 kids (11 & 13), 2 dogs had a wonderful stay. Great location! Nice lake and water activities (including fishing). John (Owner) was always available and super helpful. Property was excellent.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. The home is located in a quiet area. The view is just simply amazing. There was plenty of room, very kid friendly atmosphere. I truly did not want to come back home. The owner was very responsive each time i reached out. Thank you for providing such a beautiful home. I can't wait to visit again.

We selected this location as it was centrally located between us and our children and grandchildren. It had a nice lake with a clean wide beach. There was a playground and pool near the beach. Perfect for the little ones, The house was clean and spacious. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the large deck in the evenings. The hot tub was a nice bonus.
We did have to drive to the lake and pool area, which was approximately 1.75 miles from the house. The neighborhood was very quiet.
It was a great week with family.

This is beautiful property and house! We had a much needed relaxing getaway for our family.
Everything was high quality and we didn’t have any questions because the check in, as well as information left at the property, answered every single possible question. Lovely neighborhood too! I spent a lot of time on the porch reading and loved every minute of it! We’ll definitely be back!

Was very nice!! The local property and folks were very nice. Public pool and beach was a nice addition to the list of things to do in the local area. Played Jack Frost golf course, very nice mountain course. The house was very open and plenty of room for 8. Loved the Golden Tee golf game great addition. Played every night.

Great location. Between the lake, pool, games, and hot tub there was lots to do with the family. The house was clean and comfortable.
Only comment for improvement would be extra trashbags and TP for guests staying for a week.

Overall this property and location was great! The game/bar area downstairs was definitely a fun addition. Everything was just as the listing looked and the property owner was very easy to get in touch with. However, I expected there to be at least extra garbage bags for the house and some simple cleaning spray like Lysol and there wasn’t which was a little frustrating. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this house for your getaway. Thanks!

We had six high school friends stay here for a weekend.... Friday we had a beautiful snowfall, and waking up to a winter wonderland we took a great walk around the neighborhood. The only thing I wish we were able to have was a fire pit outside, but other than that, the property is wonderful and we would absolutely recommend to both adults and families with kids. Basement is super fun!

The house provided a space for our party to have some bonding and fun experiences. The house was close to JFBB for a day of snowboarding and then provided some relaxation in the form of the hot tub. The game room was a big hit as it kept the fun moving along.

This was the perfect spot for a friends weekend away. Lots of room to spread out. Lovely hot tub. Awesome game room with Golden Tee!! That took us back! We made delicious meals in the great kitchen. Watched movies together and were close to all the Poconos adventures we wanted to take part in! I would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be back!!

This property was as advertised, great space for all ages, and the house is setup nicely that everyone can have a space to hang out. The house was very clean, most likely the cleanest rental I've ever been in.

A recommended stay! Good communication with owner led to easy check-in. House is exactly as pictures show. Rented previously and was happy to see new arcade game in basement. Worked well for a Guys Weekend extended trip. Great location!

I brought my kids and their friends up to the house for a ski weekend. They had a great time. Very close to Jack Frost and Big Boulder. Hot tub was a huge hit! Will stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay in the chalet! Everything we needed. Very clean. Beds comfortable. Lots of room. Loved the fireplace and hot tub was great! Even saw deer in the back yard!

The chalet was so clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location was ideal too. Some of our group went skiing and we were conveniently close to Big Boulder. We would definitely rent again and highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about the home! First, there are 3 levels - each with their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Tons of privacy. The downstairs game room is great for all ages. The furnishings are all quality furniture, not your typical rentals. The entire house is very modern and comfortable. It would easily accommodate 10. Also, John was very responsive and easy to deal with. Highly recommend!

Beautiful well equipped home- we all agreed that it was the cleanest property we have ever rented. The deck and hot tub were wonderful - we spent a lot of time outdoors thanks to beautiful weather.
My only suggestion would be to put some dimmer switches on the lights since there weren’t any lamps in the living area and the overhead lights were very bright!

My wife and I really enjoyed our long weekend stay. Everything was in good order and clean. The check in process was simple. We had no issues and had a wonderful time. It was private (except for tons of deer!) and quiet, just what we were looking for. Great time of year to visit the area! Thanks again!

As a group of adults looking for a weekend getaway, being able to each have our own room was ideal. The Grand Chalet was one of very few houses that had enough rooms for our group and was reasonably priced.
The location of the house in the neighborhood was also convenient to the lake access and beach as well as the clubhouse and pool and trash disposal area.
The only negative I have about the entire process is that our registration packet containing car badges and wristbands for access to the amenities of the neighborhood were not available at the time of check-in. With that, though, the property manager was extremely accessible and brought over the packet first thing the next morning. We had no plans of using the pool/beach/etc. on the day of arrival so we were not affected in any way, but it may be beneficial to others in the future to confirm with the property manager before arriving that the registration packet will be available.

I would highly recommend the grand chalet. It was comfortable, clean and was very accommodating. There was plenty to do on the two rainy days we had, the game room in the finished basement kept us busy. Awesome place!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Roomy and beautifully decorated - you felt like you were in a mountain home! Very clean and had all the appliances/dishware we needed. The part of the deck with a roof allowed us to use it when we had a bit of rain. I will definitely rent this house again next year!

The house was wonderful. It was one of the best places we've stayed at. Our issues:
1. Registration envelope was not in the house when we arrived at the instructed time of 4PM on Saturday. Colleen , the manager stopped by and informed us that the office closed before 3PM. Therefore we were unable any registration materials until Monday morning.
2. Lake was closed from Wednesday through Friday. We were giving access to the pool, however, we missed the sign that said "No Food" and when my wife ate a couple of cookies, we were informed of the rule and rudely kicked out of the pool. area. No warning or second chance was given, even though we apologized.

Property was as described. It was a distance from attractions our group was interested in. The property owner was wonderful & receptive. Property manager arrived at 9:30 pm with our packet of information. She was not personable.

The house was absolutely beautiful!!! My family loved playing the video games and it made for great competition and family time… we would totally book again and we recommend this house
