Welcome to our Mountain Retreat, where you can escape and relax while being only 5 miles to downtown Asheville! Surrounded by 4 wooded acres, yet minutes away from the best breweries, restaurants and shopping Asheville has to offer, you won't find this unique environment this close to town anywhere else. This property brings together the mountain's historic charm with modern amenities and style. This 1931 log and chinking cabin has been meticulously remodeled and designed to blend Asheville's rich history with an updated style, perfect for your getaway. You'll be staying in the first floor unit of a two-story duplex. The property also boasts a larger cabin, which sits across the parking area. With a private entrance and your own front porch, this unit includes a kitchen, living and dining rooms, bathroom and two bedrooms fit with queen beds. You will have access to the entire unit. - Only guests included on the reservation may stay on the property unless prior approval is provided by the host. - We love pets, but they must be approved and listed on the reservation. We are not responsible for any pets on the property. Please keep pets leashed when outdoors and clean up any pet waste. Pets are not allowed on furniture and must be crated when left alone. - Smoking is NOT permitted indoors. When outside, please extinguish and throw all cigarette butts/cigars in the trash and not on the grounds. - No loud music outside after 10pm. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am – please be mindful of neighbors if outside during this timeframe. - Please do not move any furniture/décor without permission. - The firepit may only be used if there is not a guest in the lodge. Please contact us to inquire about using the firepit. If approved, firepit should be extinguished after each use.
