Towamensing is a Le napa Indian word that means Nature's Wonders. - 13 minutes to skiing at Big Boulder Ski Resort. - 17 minutes to hike trails at Hawk Falls in Hickory Run State Park. - 27 minutes to skiing at Jack Frost Ski Resort. - 23 minutes to Jim Thorpe, a charming village with lots of shops and restaurants. - 18 minutes to the all-season Split Rock Resort with an indoor Water Park open all year. - 30 minutes to The Crossings Premium Outlets. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - The community amenity rules and schedule are subject to potential changes, particularly in the event of unforeseen circumstances, as determined by the community. - There is no pool, this is a lakefront property - You must be 25 years or older to book this home. - Only watercraft that come with the property are approved for use on the lake. - Quiet hours must be followed and begin at 10 pm. - There is a strict no open fire and no firework rule in this community. Parking Details: Up to 8 cars can park onsite. --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / King bed w/ ensuite Bedroom 2 / King bed Bedroom 3 / Full bed over twin bunk bed Bedroom 4 / Twin single beds --- Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

We really enjoyed the house - it was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were responsive to a few minor issues and a kind neighbor helped us dig out of a snowfall.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived at this beautiful Lake House. We had unseasonably warm weather for our late October stay and enjoyed every moment. The kitchen, family room, porch, deck and lawn gave us the opportunity to spend time together, while still giving us plenty of space. We took advantage of the deck chairs, comfy furniture, fireplace, had plenty of table space for family meals and games. We were amused by the unique placement of light switches, but mostly had it figured out by the end of the weekend. We even found the basketball! We regret not coming earlier in the season and having access to lake activities and kayaking. Full size bath towels and bath mats would be appreciated. A perfect choice for a much needed family getaway!

Great location, came to enjoy Jim Thorpe for a long weekend and this lake house was the perfect location not too far from there. This quiet neighborhood was beautiful. Just an fyi you cannot walk all the way around this lake as there is a section that doesn’t have a bridge over to the other side. But it was still a wonderful walk!
