It was clean and pretty and the location of the house is in a picturesque forest very closeting the beach!

It was a bit musky when we first arrived but with dehumidifiers running all manageable.

Wonderful house, nice location near the sea and the Sintra palaces. Privacy guaranteed. Very responsive and helpful host. Large garden. Loved the design of the house. Regardless of the criticism we had a wonderful stay and would return right away!

No central heating. The electric heaters were helpfull, but caused power outage when combined with the electeic stove. The host mentioned that upgrades are under consideration and expected later this year. The fireplace is very nice, but sleeping on the 2nd floor in the living room doesn't feel safe (smoke). There are beds for 6 people, but one wintertimes thee house is actually too small for a comfortable stay. We were there with our family of 4 which was perfect!

The house itself and its position in the pine forest is very nice

The house was too humid and the electricity system had too often defaults whenever the boiler was turned on. The furniture is also very old and need refurbishing
