Really comfortable place with character. Exactly as shown in the photos, set back from main road so quiet.

The only tiny negatives are the pedestrian footpath / access from the residential streets behind, to the few village amenities, is past the front of the house. But we were out virtually all the time anyway! The garden is opposite and detached from the house, so wouldn't be ideal for young families. Again, not an issue for us as too cold!

Location was good and property was spacious. Beds were really comfortable. Furnished with everything we needed.

The water flow was so slow we gave up trying to have a bath but the shower was fine. Didn’t use the garden as it was Feb but if it had been Summer I wouldn’t have liked the garden not being attached to property (across the road) and everybody being able to see me.

Very clean and tidy and surprisingly spacious, well equipped and located perfectly for our trip. Bedrooms were nicely appointed and bed was comfortable, bathroom was a good size with both bath and shower facilities, all good.

Hot taps were slow flowing, not a major issue but something I am not used to. Dishwasher didn't wash properly on fast wash setting. No soap in bathroom or hand wash, had to go and buy as we arrived, also an ice cube tray in the freezer would be good. TV and kettle a bit dated but functional.

Property stated garden, but the garden is not attached to the cottage & not secure ( other couples staying in adjacent properties said the same thing) I think this would be helpful if clearly stated in the cottage description If l had known the garden was opposite the cottage l would not have booked it. The batteries in two of the remotes needed changing The shower pole is not fixed properly No mirror in main bedroom The property was not as clean as l would have expected

location and layout, fireplace made it cosy. it’s generally a good place that I would recommend.

it was cold on arrival. it wasn’t too clean, lacking kitchen utensils, and heaters are dangerous.

It was comfortable, the log burner was nice. Parking outside the property.

The hot water seemed to have no pressure at all. It was slow coming from the kitchen and bathroom tap and took 30 mins to run a bath. Being asked to strip the beds we had used, but then also asked to put the bedding and used towels in the black bag provided but couldn’t find any black bags. Probably sounds picky but never been asked to strip our beds before, but the fact there were no bags to put it in either.

Fantastic location, beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend to book here
