Excellent Villa in a prime location.

Excellent Villa. The property is located in a superb location. Within walking distance of the Marina Rubicon, shops and restaurants. The Villa had all the facilities required for a comfortable, pleasant and relaxing holiday.

The mattress on the double bed wasn't very comfortable, it had a dip in the middle. This is a minor dislike.

There were no English speaking tv channels & the advertised dvd player had disappeared! The living room seating could be more comfortable 😬

We enjoyed a very relaxing 3 weeks

Lovely location near the Marina and lots of good restaurants. The pool was lovely and warm. We had a problem with the dishwasher which was sorted very quickly. Also the toaster broke and we got a new one delivered the same day We will definitely return here

despite minor grumbles, reasonably priced and good communication which allowed us a late check out. pleasant stay but we

swimming pool, air conditioning, sun loungers were more comfortable than the bed

took til the 4th day for pool to be cleaned. safety ring for pool in back of property. not next to pool where it should be. having to pay for the air conditioning. having arrived after 10pm, a welcome package of essentials like water, tea, coffee, milk and snacks would’ve been greatly appreciated. (even if we had to pay for it) having to deal with 2 very big cockroaches (not good). bed was uncomfortable. barbecue was unusable as was very dirty (you wouldn’t cook food on it) not as clean as I would expect.

well furnished and in a convenient location for the marina and a supermarket.

not very good views from patio or balcony and the local area has a lot of building work going on (out of owners control but good to know)

The owners met us at the property and showed us around checked we could get WiFi etc. Lovely clean property, about 2 minutes walk to supermarket and coffee bar. Then main area marina few more minutes walk. Playa Blanca about 2km easy to walk along promenade you can get bus into Puerto del Carmen and other places. There is bus stop on main road out of Marina Rubicon that takes you into Playa blanca bus station. Buses every 30 minutes there is a little tourist information in marina rubicon that will give you the details. Marina Rubicon super dive centre, great diving partner saw Seahorse, Angel Sharks and unusually a huge Black Stingray.

The water pressure became very poor 2nd part of our stay and difficult to shower as so low. Pool was still quite cool although said heated to 28 degrees. The depth is deeper at steps where you go in 1.6 metres but goes shallower towards the far end of pool.

Fantastic stay at Villa Anclazul!

Comfortable and homely with a few dishwasher tablets and wash tablets supplied to get you started. There is also some toilet roll, washing up liquid and hand soap, which is always a help when you first arrive. There are also beach towels in addition to the bath towels, which is a help if you’re travelling with hand luggage only! The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, which was an added bonus. There is a few shopping bags a cool bag and ice pack in the kitchen cupboards as well. There is plenty of outside space for sunbathing and soft cushions for the sun beds. We only used the pool once, but it is a comfortable temperature we just didn’t feel the need to use it any more. There is a lovely flow of wind on the terrace, which makes it an ideal area to enjoy the sun. A bit more sun on the terrace would’ve been nice early morning, but it wasn’t anything to worry about , as the sun had come over by 10.30am and we stayed out on the sun beds until 7 or 8pm.There is a comfortable dining table on the terrace and another table and 2 chairs on the balcony as well as a dining table for 4 inside. We didn’t feel the need to stay indoors, but if the weather hadn’t been so good there is a tv, there is also a large supply of books, so you wouldn’t need to take a supply of reading material with you. Restaurants are only 5 minutes walk away at the marina, but we also went to our favourite restaurants in Playa Blanca town, as we had a hire car and also hired bikes for a few days. Thank you Marylise and Bernard for such a lovely stay in your villa and we hope to come back next year.
