Great location and very courteous staff

The staff of this facility were very welcoming and courteous. It was a pleasant experience during check in, breakfast was great too.

After speaking to Jazmin at the front desk she was very nice and professional and apologized for our bad experience the

Very nice staff and enjoyed breakfast

At arrival our room smelled like sewer then AC wouldn’t turn on till about 3 am. After a long day out I didn’t get any rest with little sleep because I had to leave the door open so the room can air out. I have a 5 year old that I didn’t want walking up and wondering out. Our first night was definitely very inconvenient. We weren’t able to get accommodated to another room.

Breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable

The breakfast room needs air conditioning. It was very stuffy and hot in there. Right out our rooms window was a storage unit that was very close to the hotel.

Decent price for Carlsbad.

The staff was great. Jasmyn at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast choices were good. The bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Water pressure was great and plenty of hot water. Although the hotel was a distance from downtown Carlsbad, there were plenty of selection within a mile.

Fair amount of noise from the road. Our room was the closest to the road however. Also, the stands that contained the cleaning supplies (hand sanitizer and wipes) were empty.

The whole stay was overall good.

The door lock for bathroom is broken. There was miscommunication between the booking website and the hotel, therefore I was charged twice the intended amount I was supposed to pay.

Staff was wonderful. After our first night we noticed water between the tub and toilet which we noticed was being sucked up into the sheet rock. Turned out to be a leak behind the faucet. We notified the front desk and they found us another room immediately. Breakfast was one of the best we had traveling. Close to restaurants and shopping.

The breakfast was great, staff was so freindly and helpful. Nice rooms , great parking area, loved the jacuzzi. It was a great stay.

Room smelled like a dirty dog kennel

Andrew was good at check in

Wifi is not free unless you have someone at the front desk connect using a code. I woke up at night because it smelled like a dog kennel. It smelled like a dirty dog and stale urine. I spoke with Chris and said there can not be special rooms for people allergic to dogs because it would be discriminating to the dog. Yes, he did say that! I guess if you have a child with asthma or you have allergies this hotel prioritizes the dog.

Previous stays there were better...

Nice people, clean, good location.

Our room didn't have any bath towels. Front desk couldn't get them to us as she was the only person on duty until 8am. I finally went down there myself.

Enjoyed our stay very much and wished we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.

For us location was great. We went to the Safari Park (about 30 minutes away) and took various side trips.Hotel is across the street from a small airport but was nice and quiet on the 3rd floor towards the back. Rooms were very clean and staff was exceptional. Extremely friendly. We will definitely go back, hopefully when the Flower Fields are in bloom!!!

If you don't mind a noisy room (inside and out), then this is the place

Location, staff, and the price (this time)

Rooms are noisy. I was awakened by other guests when they closed their doors (inside and outside their rooms). I could voices from the rooms next door. Either the TV was on, or the people where talking. It was noisy also from dumpster truck in the AM. It happened a couple of days. Heater made a loud clicking sound when shutting down. I informed the front desk, and was told that maintenance would look at it. It was noisy the whole time. TV shut down a couple of times. Apparently the power cord shuts off for some reason.
