Would not stay again
The pool looked decent. We had a busy weekend so we’re unable to actually enjoy the facilities but the pool looked clean and well cared for.
The initial impression of this motel made me uneasy. We arrived within check in time and were greeted after a small child ran off to get their relative to check us in. Throughout the check in process we felt uncomfortable and as though we were intruding on this family’s home (noting half eaten meals in the lobby-making us feel as though this was their dining room) After the check in we made our way to our room which was unnerving at best. It was as clean as it could be given the age of the place, but if you are a nervous traveler or one who travels with valuables I would not stay here. The beds were comfortable albeit there was a a concerning red stain on one of the beds in our room- we didn’t sleep on that one. The rooms were VERY DARK with no overhead lighting. They did provide a fan, which was appreciated but it didn’t do much. I understand that accommodation is hard to come by in a small town during wedding season but charging nearly $200/night after tax for this place is absurd.

Unpleasant.
Close to the water
We were moved to a secondary location with no prior notice which was a motel vs the hotel we booked. Was given a "discount" for being moved; which was the regular rate for the motel vs the hotel. The room wasn't clean and the staff was rude when this was brought to their attention. Wifi didn't work and they were aware of this after complaining but didn't tell us when checking and gave us the wifi password as if the wifi worked.
