The location was awesome, practically right in the middle of downtown corner brook. 8 minute drive from the university, 2-3 from Tim’s and the main stretch. Very close to the movie theatre. You could probably walk everywhere you wanted to go (aside from parks and the school) in 15 minutes or less, AND it’s extremely close to the arts and culture centre if you want to catch a show or check out the local artist’s work in the gallery! :)
The room was clean - to a point. My mom found pubic hair on the bathroom toilet seat before we’d even fully unpacked, and there were old peanuts next to the tv and fan from a previous guest. Not enough pillows, either, hard to get comfortable to sleep.

The Mexican restaurant on site was fabulous.
Rooms were clean and had been updated however it still is an older hotel. would stay again

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The 24hr front desk was very convenient. The location was also convenient as it was practically just off the highway (so, easy to get to and from places) and was along Main St where many restaurants were.
There were a lot of homeless people around the building. The lighting was poor in the parking lot and door-front. The building looked run-down and sketchy. I did not feel safe or secure. Also, the room itself (while still clean) looked like a cheap rundown motel room or dorm room out of a movie. The doors were difficult to shut and open. All in all, nothing really wrong with the place, just wasn't a comfortable stay and wasn't worth the price in my opinion.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The location was confusing.
No air conditioning (but they did supply a small fan, upon request)
Only one shampoo packet for 2 people.

The room was fine.
It was a really hot day so we had to keep the window open all night. It became very stuffy and I actually became very ill from the heat. The construction work ( in the parking lot) started at 7:00 am. It made for a very tired and unpleasant day due to lack of sleep.

About the linen wasn’t clean specially our blanket rest everything was perfect we were scratching out skin all night long just because blanket or all linen and we found it was warm all night

visible updates. staff was amazing. property was clean. Sweet little bar to relax in.
the corridor was too cold due to the air conditioning being too high. other than that, not a thing we didn’t like.

It is a convenient location, lack of pests, friendly staff.
Good parking on site.
Not much else to say really.
Checkout was easy,
The rooms lack a coffee maker, microwave oven, air conditioning, spare towels.
There is no ice maker available outside the attached tavern.
These upgrades to the general standard would make a stay there far more comfortable.
