Beautiful hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant and bar. Great hotel for romantic getaway.

Rooms are larger than most hotels. Very quiet location and delicious breakfast at their restaurant.
THE BEDS! They sound and feel like spring coil mattresses- not comfortable. Rooms and furniture are dated and worn out- needs remodeling , Disappointing when you are paying $500 a night during peak season.

Nice location not too far from Oakland airport. Clean room. Quiet and dark room for sleeping. Friendly front desk. Ease of underground parking. Room was warm which we liked.

Beautiful property with a unique feel. Pool and hottub area was charming although there was some road noise. Our deluxe 2 queen room had lofted ceilings on the 4th floor which was an added bonus. Really pretty lobby - can sit and enjoy fireplace and buy wine/bottled cocktails/snacks at reception desk.
Our room was facing west and there is a dog boarding there. Woke up to quiet but still audible sounds and throughout day of dogs barking or whining. Ask for a room NOT facing this direction and you will be happy.

From the moment I entered the hotel, it was a lovely experience. Front desk was professional, warm, and friendly. I had requested a quiet room and actually had a quiet room. They offered freshening service mid-stay to take out trash and refill coffee and complimentary water. Check out was easy, too.
The bathroom was very nice. One thing that would have been nice is to have a hand-held shower attachment, but that's just a personal preference.

amazing place with perfect service. the SPA was very good. I enjoyed stay in this hotel and will definitely come back one day.

Spacious room with very comfortable king bed, desk, and sofa. Nice amenities such as robe, big towels, and great shower. Onsite restaurant was very good. Online check-in made getting to the room a breeze.
Wifi connection was very spotty...not something I would expect from a high end hotel. Some obvious pluses but these all came with a high price...not a particularly good value for money in my opinion.

The Staff was very helpful.
It’s next to a dog kennel and they bark incessantly. No amenities. Super dated.

Room was clean and spacious
Limited services, like the restaurant being closed for a couple of days while I was there, should have been pointed out before booking. Also I continued item of frustration from booking.com is that the Lafayette Park folks did not pay attention or Grant my request for an earlier check in. I often travel long distances from the opposite Coast or on overnight flights from the East and this is a real issue to be told checkin is at 3:00 time and time again

The price for the room was high but reasonable. I did not like having to pay an extra $25 just to park on the property.
