Overall amazing will use again

Staff was amazing; parking was kind of a mess but the kind women at the desk made it so I had parking with ease. Did not realize it came with complimentary breakfast so that was a surprise.

Ok for a short visit. I wouldn't stay there for an entire week or more.

Location

Bathroom too small. Bedside table was in the way of the door getting into the room so you couldn't open the door all the way. The balcony too small. TV didn't work properly.

Superb

location great. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Balcony facing the ocean was a great bonus. Breakfast was ready every morning with pastries, hot coffee, bagels , cereal , fruits and orange juice, which was awesome. Dont have to leave hotel to find coffee and breakfast and can save a little money too. Hot water took a while to warm up but it’s an old building, and once it warmed up it stayed hot for a long time with good pressure. Love the old building charm it has . Quiet at night. Rooms comfortable.

Was sketchy upon arrival, not worth the price, feels like I got scammed, not returning.

The location of the hotel is right on the boardwalk giving a great view of the beach and ocean.

The hotel is dated. The room had an incomplete bathroom (sink in the main room next to the bed), sink light not wired properly, missing outlet cover, no hot water in the shower, shower drains very slow, beds are old, AC unit poorly installed, hotel parking is horrible, breakfast buffet was unsanitary, can see into the room between the door and the frame, balcony very cramped.

Our Best Trip to Hampton Beach!

I take my family to the Hamptons every year for the 4th of July, I’ve stayed at a few different places over the years. This was our first time at the Moulton Hotel. & This was the absolute BEST trip we’ve had to Hampton beach. This Hotel is literally on the strip. Overlooking the Ocean. The Views Day & Night are Gorgeous. Arriving the Owner and staff were more than welcoming and friendly. Our room was ready for us. It was super clean. Bedding nice, plenty of pillows, there was even little chocolates out which my kids loved. Housekeeping came everyday to take out trash and bring new towels and anything else we needed. I even had issue with my cable box in middle of night and staff came right to my room to fix it immediately. Breakfast served every morning downstairs was such a plus, and it was good. Bagels danishes muffins cereal coffee etc. what more can you ask for before heading to beach! One night they even had fresh popcorn to take with us while we went out. The showers were always hot so cleaning up after the beach was never an issue. There is even a little store downstairs if you need anything throughout your stay. And the fireworks were amazing. You can watch them right from your balcony. Best views. Parking was provided right around the corner which was great also. So over all this trip was fantastic. And at check out I booked my stay for next year. I have kids ages ranging from 17, 12, &5. And they all had a great time. The Carpenter Family will be back Every year at The Moulton! Thank you!

People watching at its BEST!

One of our favorite places in Hampton! Not 5*, but clean, super comfy bed, and balcony overlooking the strip! Rain or shine it’s a great time. Staff and owner are amazing, and breakfast included!!

if you want a place right on the beach it’s perfect .

Great location couldn’t have asked for better . had a convenient store underneath which was very helpful.

The beds need to be updated very hard , I have a bad back and did not help it . also I don’t think they changed the bed bad had lots of stains .

The location was excellent was able to get to all stores and arcade room within minutes of walking distance

The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have a tub in the room I had other than that everything else was great from the staff to the location

I didn’t get the room I reserved, parking was on our Own or half mile down the road. Very inconvenient for bringing stuff up. Rooms were not updated and very small. Lots of cracks in floor and rugs not vacuumed as well as they should have been.

Not what you would expect

Bathroom my shoulders hit the wall when on the John. Pictures online don’t match the room. I bet they are 20 years old. Did I mention broken springs in bed too

People pay more money stay in a better place don’t waste your money on this place!!

The man at the front Desk was very rude when we tried to explain about the black mold in the room!! And you could see right outside underneath the door awful place should be condemned.

Superb

Loved the location, balcony and staff. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The location is perfect and we watched fireworks from the balcony. The bed was comfortable.The hotel is older and a little worn but it was clean. We found it to be charming.

The shower was the only thing we didn’t like. It was very small and short with weak water pressure. Not a deal breaker

Worst vacation ever because of our room

I did not like anything about the property there was never anybody at the front desk to help us we did not get the room we paid for we do not have a balcony we could utilize the bed couch we had to move around all the electrical stuff because the electrical outlet was broken and sparking behind the bed will be pulled out the bed couch it’s so much to so bad against the bed and actually called a smoky smell and sparks coming out of the outlet which was broken and very dangerous and I have attached pictures to the property they completely charged us twice for the room and talk to you for payment of 477 and change my mom’s card

Everything about the property they didn’t give us the room we paid for they overcharged us the room is extremely dangerous we barely slept because of the electrical problems and they would not accommodate us with a different room because there was an everybody at the front desk to help us

Disappointing

Absolutely a great location for the Seafood Festival. Staff was friendly and responsive. The hotel had a nice little continental breakfast.

At check in it was difficult as the person checking us in couldn’t speak English well. We don’t speak Spanish so it would have been helpful to have someone who is bilingual at the desk. Parking lot was very small and hard to maneuver. They allowed PU trucks to park in the small lot which didn’t allow for a full lot. The beds were very very uncomfortable and the bed frames were bent in the middle and the box springs were broken so both beds sank in the middle. You had to wait a good 10 to 15 minutes to get hot water while running the shower and the sink at the same time. It was interesting when the front desk clerk did this for us in the room when we complained. Like this was reasonable???? We had issues with the remote control for the TV and couldn’t plug the microwave in but these were resolved right away. It’s an older hotel and needs dire updating or complete overhaul and not just cosmetic. This hotel needs a full remodel and updating.
