This place is very family-friendly, both kids and parents had a great time. The game room is a must, food is great and activities offered by the recreation desk make a big difference. Even the shop is nice!

The resort facilities were really good and the staff super friendly. I really liked the smore's and the fireplaces at night.
3 big disappointments:
1. Insects, we had a villa but there were so many insects outside. It was impossible to go out.
2. Swimming pool itself was dirty and had many dead insects in it
3. Location: One of the biggest plus points were the location but yosemite entrance was closed. Booking.com/hotel didnt disclose this at the time of the booking.

Such a great place to go as a family and the villa was so great (but expensive). loved all the games and pools. Loved they had EV Chargers for us too but for the price it should have been free Tesla chargers. Been to many places so much cheaper that do this.
For the price per night, breakfast was outrageously priced! It was very good but $28 per person and no other options that's crazy especially for my family that doesn't eat a lot.

The pool, the hiking on site, the gameroom (huge hit with our daughter), daily smores, the staff - the general manager helped us with tire chains to the extreme. It got to the point that he actually got us new tire chains when it was clear ours were no good.
The food on site at the Tavern was ok, it was not bad and it was not amazing. The prices are a little high but that's also just the going price for eating at yosemite.

Great location in close proximity to the NP. Amazing amenities after a long day of nature exploration… 3 saltwater pools, cozy spaces with lots of love for details, nightly campfire s’mores.
The heating/air con was very loud so we could not leave it on overnight and it ended up being pretty chilly in the mornings. Staff provided us with blankets though.

An idyllic lodge to stay in Yosemite. The staff were welcoming, the room was comfortable, if not a little dated and dark. The facilities were good, in particular the pool area and fire pits. Garden lighting, running streams and practical decking around the property look beautiful. We appreciated the guest laundry. The views of the resort from the balcony were fabulous with some great trails to explore just at the rear of the property. We did an excellent half day tour which was well worth the money as we saw a lot of the park we may not have explored ourselves. Jim our guide was very very knowledgable. A fantastic stay!
Overall, I would rate the food at the lodge way below standard. Meals took a long time to be delivered to the table, and the quality of the food was very average. Similarly the food and coffee offering at the general store was dreadful. If you're doing a tour and need lunch while exploring during the day, I'd suggest taking your own food.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the park entrance and it’s just beautiful. The staff are helpful and friendly everyone we met and talked to (we introduce ourselves to all) were absolutely wonderful . The hot tubs and pool are fabulous and for those bringing kids there are tonnes of activities. Lastly the food at a place like this (remote with no other options) is usually expensive and mediocre. The chefs here break all those rules. The food is outstanding. So much so folks from other places eat here. We were there in the off season so didn’t need dinner reservations but I imagine in peak season and with groups larger than 2 (like us) you should make dinner reservations ahead of time. Last thing, is we did a day tour called Wonder of the Park. It was $180pp usd, while not inexpensive it was worth EVERY penny!!! We lucked out with Jim Pence, our guide, who grew up in the park, who’s knowledge was incredible. This was absolutely the best day of our 2 week road trip.
That we didnt stay longer. But we will be back.
