All was great except for the waste of energy.
The AC was at max and the heater with propane was on too (at minimum level).
I understand that customers like to find the room cool but I’m sure they will understand if they have to turn the AC on when they arrive.
It was however unacceptable to see the heater on in the middle of the summer.
Our planet is literally burning and there are still people and management who basically don’t give a s… about it.

Everything was good until we found a rat in our tent 😐

Very cozy Yurt close to Yosemite entrance. Enough room for four people.

the yurt was in a great location and a bus stopped right at the site to take you into the national park
it was not cleaned when we arrived and we had to wait over an hour for it to be resolved which meant we could not gain access to the property until after 8pm and could not enjoy that evening as planned

The yurt was very fun to stay in and close to two of the park entrances. It was the perfect mix of camping and the amenities of a modern cabin. The swamp cooler and ceiling fan (cool skylight!) kept us cool all day and the gas fireplace kept us cozy at night. The kitchen had all you needed to make basic meals (fridge, hobs, microwave, no oven). The grill on the porch was hooked to a main gas line so no worries about buying a propane tank.
We did not have windows in the yurt because they were too high off the ground to access. They are just canvas flaps and ours faced the road but several feet off the ground so you would need a ladder to open them. This made the yurt dark during the day and lost some ambiance of the glamping experience at night. You could hear some noise from other guests. One night a redneck harassed some foreign guests nextdoor about being too loud when they were just sitting at their campfire. I was fearful they were going to be assaulted. The staff came around and took the side of the angry redneck. It didn’t ruin the whole experience but it is worth knowing what type of guests an RV park brings around. Some of our bedding was clearly dirty and smelled like dogs but we just used other clean blankets they had provided.
