This is the most ungodly, ridiculous, sick, dirty, nasty, scary, skanky, disgusting, horrific hotel that has been advertised on Booking.com as something that it is not do not bring your children there. Do not go there alone. Do not go there unless you were feeling really really safe and don’t have a problem with unsavory situations.
Have You ever felt like you were in the middle of a really scary movie about things that you’re not allowed to talk about because if you do you have to take them to the grave, do you know what I mean because even saying this on Booking.com could bring death to my family do you understand what I’m saying? Do not go here unless you want to be stared down by somebody with the coldest most steel, scary, eyes…lacking sympathy. God bless their souls because they need that I feel so bad for these people because whatever kind of operation they’re running, is not a kind of operation that you would want to Involve yourself in unless you’re already involved do you know what I mean?

First I received a confirmation of cancellation that I was getting charged and rebooked with a disability access room. I called the hotel, they said it was a booking .com problem. Within no time it disappeared, but still disability unit. Once again I called, the gentleman was abrupt and trying to talk over me. He said if we have a unit available. Supposedly getting roll in shower, totally accessible. We go in to the facilities, the room is in front with 2 steps! The patio had a 3 inch step up. The shower was not a roll in but a walk in. My sister is a double apputee, she would have been in a room not able to get into shower or on patio. She would have had to park bfar in the back (if there was enough parking) go up elevator and all the way to other end. Staff was abrupt, seemed disgusted to have to get extra pillow. Breakfast is weak coffee, watered down on, cereal...

Daily our room was very well cleaned with fresh towels. Our request for four bath towels each day was met; being outside all day (not at the beach), at the end of the day we needed a good shower to get clean. We enjoyed waking up to the sun rising over the golf course and the very short walk to the Venice Restaurant for drinks and dinner.
The ceiling fan in the bathroom was very noisy, due to age and the end-of-season bearings wearing out. We expect the fan will be replaced this winter. Because there isn't a coffee make in the room, it would be nice if the coffee and minimalist breakfast items were available promptly at 7:30 am for those of us waiting at the door with early plans.

central location
no coffee maker in the room, the “private beach” was overly crowded, overpriced and outdated.

You have to return your beach/beach parking pass upon check out so you can’t go to the private beach but only 1 day if staying for the weekend. They take a deposit of $100 so I don’t see why you can’t just return it upon your departure.

Quieter than being on the beach road.
We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator went up no problem but would only go as far as second floor .this made it very difficult for my elderly parent to get down the stairs. Rooms are dated.

.The location is nice, everything else is just very odd and unsettling. We assume the owners live on site and the door entering building did not lock, so that was unsettling and the vibes were not great beds really uncomfortable and felt like we paid a lot for what we got....not good for many reasons not to mention very very unfriendly hosts and employees
.One word everything about the stay....unacceptable.. should be refunded or at least a rate adjustment for that horrible experience.....

The rooms were clean and smelled fresh.
I think bottles of water should be placed in a hotel room. I was a very disappointed to find no water in the room or room refrigerator. I tried to buy water from the hotel vending machine but had no luck on 9/17 in the afternoon. I had to drive to a store to buy bottled water.

Unfortunately I missed the breakfast as I didn't realize there was one. I thought the place was exceptional. Loved our room, loved the location, was thrilled with the size, cleanliness and the jacuzzi. Regret I didn't use the swings. Unfortunately was assaulted by some intense biting bugs when I walked in the garden, but can't fault the Inn for that. The view from our room was awesome (we had the end room looking towards the "beach" as well as the golf course). Loved the property, the garden, that there were actually tomatoes growing as well as a bunny. Couldn't have been happier- thanks for a lovely stay Winnipaug Inn!
