Had the best 6 days on this island! I love how everything is close to each other, the 3 beaches, the dining/bar area and the rooms. The dorms are big and the beds were comfortable. There’s beautiful palm trees everywhere and the snorkeling is absolutely amazing! All the staff are so nice and make you feel at home, I wish I could stay longer :( Buffet lunch was very good every day! Will 100% come back here when I visit Fiji again in the future. Vinaka vakalevu!!!
The meal plan was quite expensive but understandable (islands are always more expensive as the food has to be brought there)
I personally would’ve preferred more buffet dinners instead of the set or a la carte menu’s, I only had 1 out of 5 nights.

Pristine, natural, just fitted in seemingly with the natural state of the island
Nothing!

Very chill environment. Amazing coral, the best in the yasawas! The diving and snorkeling were incredible and very knowledgeable staff. The staff was like a family. Took the time to get to know you and made it so hard to leave. Barry, Ann, Bete, Filo, thank you for everything!!!!!!!

Excellent resort in the island (only one) and better than others in the closest islands. The staff is just amazing! Good food, entertainment and 3 great beaches just less than 5 minutes walking...I totally recommend this place. Clean and confortable rooms/beds and a lot of activities to do!
Great surroundings/reefs for snorkeling
WIFI might be improved...only works at the restaurant

I LOVE this little island. It was 10 days of magic. If u love sea and underwater wonderland u will enjoy in every snorkel and dive, and it will be like a drug u ll just want it more and more. One of my favorite thing is that u have 3 beaches so u ALWAYS can hide from the wind and more important find yourself all alone in perfect peace listening the talk between winds and birds. Staff is amazing, super friendly and the most important part of the island cause they give u all their heart and u feel it and charish it and bring it with u home to save it forever in a box of memories.

Definitely worth staying in a beachfront villa. There is a cute dive shop and a marine centre where the marine biologists educate about the marine life. Every afternoon the staff play volleyball and anyone can join. The dive sites are wonderful, (though wouldn’t recommend the wreck). The staff are wonderful, always smiling, they sing twice every day, once to welcome guests and once to farewell. There is plenty of food and the portions are generous. Everyday there is a menu to choose from for your next meal. Entree, Main, Dessert. Drinks are not included (other than water) but there is happy hour every day. I would recommend going during Manta season as that would be the highlight (we weren’t there for that). There are no Mantas out of season. We also went to Barefoot Kuata and preferred it.
In the height of summer it is really hot as there is no air con, though there are fans. Would recommend going when a little cooler and during Manta season

The location is fantastic! You can enjoy 3 different beaches (Sunrise, Sunset and Manta) and snorkel straight from the beach.
The design of their Ocean View Bure is beautiful.
The overpriced compulsory meal plan that you have to pay even if you don’t want to eat. The food is not worth the money.
You can pick from 3 main options which never included traditional food in the days we were there.
Some of the staff were helpful and friendly but not all of them.

I loved the free guided snorkelling with the marine biologists. The paid night snorkel was incredible! I also loved the culture sessions with Si - language lessons, coconut processing, cooking.
More hammocks. Less heat and more breeze😉

The Reef, staff and the island itself. The reef is one of the most incredible we have seen and as a return visit 5 years on can see the improvements made thanks to the efforts of the team to protect and grow it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly - always keen to chat and ask about your travels etc. Love the vibe on this island it’s a great community of people and they really do want everyone to feel at home. The dive crew are the best!!! Despite below feedback for improvement we wouldn’t hesitate to return as positives still outweigh negatives
Communication and understanding (of celiac disease) needs to be improved when it comes to Gluten Free guests (for some people this is a severe issue). It’s not acceptable to be served something that you have to throw up and for there to be uncertainty around what is ok to eat on multiple occasions. There wasn’t enough room in dorm rooms for everyone’s stuff when full (annoying as the whole 5 nights there was an empty dorm). All it would take for improvement here is to make sure there is a drawer for each bed. One of the fans in our dorm room didn’t really work so it was incredibly hot at night so very poor sleep. Music in the restaurant / reception area was often unnecessarily loud - annoying as that’s the only place with wifi where you can make calls and booming music is not welcome at 6.30am. The only other point would be about providing some more comfortable seating / relaxing areas all around.

Overall a different vacation style for me. With that said the staff, who made a great effort to know your name was very accommodating and when there was an issue it was resolved quickly. In. nutshell the staff was amazing.
Bar service was a little slow but the friendliness of the staff somewhat made up for that. Could have used a broom in the room due to the amount of sand I tracked in which could have just been me.

We loved it so much! We stayed 7 days in a dorm tent and it was very comfortable and got cleaned every day. We went snorkeling every day from all of the 3 beaches and saw so many different fishes and corals. It was beautiful! But as muck diving lovers we enjoyed the muck diving with Rob the most! We were fortunate enough to find 3 different types of the rare Shaun the Sheep nudibranch, a ghostpipefish and even a seahorse. 🥰

Quiet island and has friendly staff. Good for those who want to relax.
The room is actually a tent, not easy to get in or out.

The location of the room looking straight out to the beach was amazing.
Some of the meals were fine but not excellent.

I loved my bure and its wonderful position a few steps from sunset beach. I loved the friendliness of the staff and all the wonderful meals. I thought the 'crab race' was great fun!
I had a minor accident the week before I left for Fiji so this seriously restricted my participation in most of the wonderful water activities. Putting that aside, I did think that the resident group of Uni students were a bit too loud. I suggest an 11 pm curfew.

Nice house reef, they maintain it very well. Happy to do some snorkeling around the reefs. Breakfast was good and a lot of choices.
Takes sometime long time before you got lunch or dinnner, but quality can be better, specially for the price you paid for it. Dorms are in a tent, not ideal when during rainy season.

Had the best time there. Wonderful welcome from the staff, great atmosphere at all times.
Plenty of activities for those who wish to relax (hammocks, choice of beaches, cocktails…), be active (dive, snorkel, hime to viewpoint, beach volley…), or learn (village visits, in house marine biology team offering talks and outings).
The dorm was clean, comfy and not too crowded. Food was varied and tasty.

The beds were comfortable. The staff were so friendly, approachable and personable. They made an effort to remember names. The food was great. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.
I wish there was a bottom zipper in the dorms of the yurts. Otherwise, everything was great.

A great place, amazing staff, explore the reef at the training center. You can learn a lot there and do something good for nature. there are additional costs for the food. You should know that. But the food is delicious and you have to consider that all groceries are shipped to the island. Absolutely brilliant place. Magical. The snorkeling is amazing!

We loved the natural state of this charming resort. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much to ask. Our Bure was basic but very comfortable - once we got used to showering under the open sky! We felt completely relaxed by the calmness that surrounded us. The food was fresh, well cooked and plentiful. We enjoyed having the water so close, falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. It would have been lovely to have been here for the Manta ray season, however we enjoyed our snorkelling over the coral. Sharing a drink as we watched the sun set over the ocean was a perfect way to finish our day.
We would have preferred a bit more variety with the menu: however we understand the logistics of getting produce out to these islands.

Breakfast value for money with all you can eat buffet. Staff always so happy with a big good morning!!
No ability for tea and coffee station in your room. Lack of consistency with daily room servicing. Some days provided other days just didn’t show.
We paid the $$ for a private beach Bure only to find it right beside dive shop and volleyball courts. Also public thoroughfare for beach entrance. We had people using our private hammock outside our Bure.We had requested a quiet room. No afternoon snoozes on holidays for us !!!
We just couldn’t see the reason for the $129/person/ day for food. We know we were staying on an island but it’s a lot of money for tinned fruit salad and soup.

you can kayak around the island and the snorkelling here is fantastic. fun staff. beautiful island.
pricey. the food is a bit bland.

The people, the people, the people and location, location, location!
Humidity of the accommodation, hard to keep things dry with the humidity in the canvas accommodation. It would be lovely if a soft drink or two was included with the meal plan
