Interesting and hip place with a few cons

Location of the hotel is good, 5 minutes walk to the historical center. It's spotlessly clean and breakfast was also quite good. Checkout is at 12:00h which gives enough time, very appreciated, design of the place is modern with many thematic details.

Hotel is in the backyard of the very narrow and steep one-way street. If it's blocked by another car, you need to look for the owner to move it (happened twice during a 2 nights stay). Hotel is approached by a front yard, and there is no place for cars to pass by each other, so if you meet another guests car someone has to go in reverse all the way. Still, the parking is appreciated. Front yard is long, with few more houses, where some of them hold domestic animals, leaving unpleasant smell. In the next yard is a kindergarten, so if your rooms faces that side, it's noise non-stop. Soundproofing is bad, you will hear water, speech, clock alarms and everything else from rooms around yours. While it's really nicely decorated, everything is really compact and each small space is used. Combined with the position of the hotel, our entire stay felt somewhat claustrophobic. Beds are comfy, but pillows are high bouncy synthetic ones, for me they were unusable so a rolled-up towel did the trick.

Excellent experience. I would be happy to stay there again.

Very comfortable room overlooking the greenery and trees around the property through big windows. Excellent bed. Excellent breakfast. Very polite staff.

It’s only a 8 minute walk from the centre. Actually I don’t think it’s a con.

lovely hotel with very nice breakfast buffet and helpful staff

location won’t be to everyone’s liking as is off the Main Street down an alley and slightly out of town centre but not really an issue for us.

A real find in the heart of Cluj! I loved my stay at this hotel. I'll be back!

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable - very comfy bed, spacious, kettle and tea bags provided. The breakfast was spectacular, with a range of cooked and cold meats, fish, eggs, pickles etc and 5 different types of fruit juice. The hotel is very conveniently suited for the botanical gardens, student area, and lots of good eateries nearby. It's also a little way back from a busy road, so very quiet.

The room was beautiful and everything was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a good breakfast. The hotel has a good location, close to the city center. There was good parking.

I recommend it for youngs but not sure if I will come back there in the future

We liked the location, breakfast was good and quality food, good coffee and the boy around that area in the morning was very nice. The details of the room.

The room size, the parfume, it was plugged in some air freshener on maximum level, we took it of, but after that you can feel some mould smell in the bathroom. The room was ready like for a single person, towels for one person, one duvet, we took the second ones from the dressing, but even that we announced that we will be 2 adults and one child, luckily for the child we always have her towels with us, and I'm sure if we've asked the receptionist they will give some extra towels, but usually hotels are carefully with those details.

Beautiful place, beautiful people!

The service in the hotel surpassed my espectations. Everyone was very friendly. The room is cosy and clean. He hotel is located in central part of the city but in a very quiet place.

Superb

Excellent location, close to city center and to the botanical gardens. The rooms were nice but on the small side. Breakfast was good, with decent vegetarian choices. Helpful staff. Sufficient private parking.

Some of the rooms on the first floor are directly in front of the parking lot.

Breakfast Location - close to the city center but quite

Room was very dark. Not possible to read a book in the middle of sunny, cloudless day without lights turn on. In shower cabin only glass walls were cleaned. Walls with ceramic tiles were not cleaned at all, probably from many weeks. There were disgusting brownish stains of dirt on tiles
