Pet friendly

I absolutely loved this charming,grand old place. It is older, but everything was clean. Very large room. Very pet friendly. Lovely outdoor courtyard and pool.

The staff was very pleasant

The only thing was the hotel was hard to find. We used our GPS but it couldn't find the hotel. The Awesome part was we stopped at a convenience store and a policia was there and he led us straight to the hotel. He was very kind to us.

Mario was great! He unloaded all of our bags refusing our help. AMAZING!!

Allows dogs. Restaurant was good and ordered meal was plentiful. Room was clean, staff were nice.

Phone to order room service did not work. QR code for restaurant menus also did not work. Shower’s faucet did not work properly. Housekeeping only left two bath towels and one hand towel. No Kleenex available. We are considering trying another hotel after all the problems we encountered but there are few hotels that accept dogs in Guaymas. Also, hotel was the most expensive hotel we stayed in while in Mexico.

The Bellman was the only person they’re respectful . Location and restaurant.

Property did not honor our original reservations book from Booking.com they proceeded to upsell us to a more expensive room and not honoring our request for handicap accommodations. Staff was very rude.

room was kind of rundown, showing alot of wear and tear. needed an extra pillow and was told they didnt have any available. had forgotten toothpaste, they didnt have that either. Water pressure in shower was barely adequate.

The room was dirty and very outdated, they were renovating several of the rooms and were using noisy powertools until 9:30 .

The hotel is very clean and the Staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy access to public transportation and close to many tourists attractions.

Broken AC Not enough towels Noisey

Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel has good food. Plenty of parking.

We have stayed at Hotel Armida before and enjoyed it but this was the worst. The room we got was a little run down. The furniture was beat up. Not enough towels-only two for shower, no hand towels. Other guests were inconsiderate-noisy, left beer can next to our car, loud talking at 2am, slammed doors several times, car lights shining into our room.

The location was as expected. The parking felt secure. The common areas were nice. Staff was friendly overall.

No hot water in shower, only warm. No hand towels or wash cloths. Floor tiles were patched and loose. TV remote didn’t work. Had to get my key card reset every time I left the room. No water glasses. No coffee pot. No amenities at all.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. It is really a beautiful property. There is a large courtyard with gardens, outdoor seating areas and a pool. It was really nice. There are two restaurants on property, one more casual and one more of a high end steakhouse. The food was really good and the beers were nice and cold. The breakfast was really really outstanding and even though I only had apps at the steakhouse, those were really good too. The staff at both restaurants were very hospitable and friendly. Great service. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel was clean and in close enough proximity to a beach and close to walking in the mountains.

A couple things left me a bit disappointed...When I made the reservation, I messaged the property requesting a pet friendly room. They did not ask me anything about pets and gave me the keys to my room. Shortly after settling in there was a knock on the door telling me I immediately needed to leave the room as it was not pet friendly. They moved me, my dogs and all my things to another room. A few hours later, I watched two women go into the exact same room I was in with their dog. It was very frustrating because I had been traveling for 10 hours on the road and had to gather all my things and move. Also, when I checked in, I knew I had breakfast included in my rate. The two at the front desk did not know I understand Spanish and when the one asked her if I had the breakfast she said no. I didn't say anything but when I went back in the morning to ask for the voucher, she reluctantly gave me one as if she was annoyed I was asking. It was not very hospitable at all and not very welcoming.
