Wonderful cozy new space. Located in the prestigious Pill Hill neighborhood, 1 block from St. Marys hospital. From St. Marys catch the free Mayo Shuttle to other Mayo buildings. All new furniture, linens, mattress. Smart TV, and fast Wifi included. The home is located in a great area yards from St. Marys Hospital, restaurants, salons, and gas stations. The home is a DUPLEX. The lower level is St. Augustine Cottage, the upper level apartment is St. Augustine Flat. Both apartments are private with separate keyed entries. The only shared space is the side foyer. No car needed but free parking is behind the home (driveway/garage). Light cleaning service provided for stays greater than 10 days (upon request) *** We provide soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc to get you started, you may need to refill depending on the length of your stay. The house may be warmer in the summer/cooler in the winter. 2 Window ac’s and space heater provided for additional comfort Follow @livelifeforjesuschrist

we did not like the steep staircase. it was very cozy, but the bathroom was extremely small. the bed was small,

This property is so cute. It has great character and so convenient to Mayo Clinic. Denise was incredibly accommodating and communication was fantastic. She was very quick to answer questions and so helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

This upstairs apartment was small, but nice and cozy. It worked out perfectly for my daughter and myself visiting for appointments at Mayo.
Overall, we were very happy with it.
Pros- Cozy and clean. Great location. We felt safe- as women traveling alone. The free Mayo shuttle worked great once we figured it out. The St. Mary's campus is a block away (sidewalk between the apartments out back), the free Mayo shuttle pickes up roughly every 30mins. starting a 7am and will drop you at the main campus (Gonda).
Cons.- Being an older house with creaky floors, we worried about being too loud for the renters below. The bathroom is tiny! If you are tall or larger, this could be an issue (especially the shower).

The flat is comfortable, charming and well maintained. It was a great place to stay as we worked through several Mayo appointments and a procedure. Walking to St. Mary's was a huge plus. Also very nice to be able to spread out and to cook our own meals. As mentioned in other comments the bathroom is small & steps are steep but neither were a problem for us and add to the charm I think. Denise is very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!!

Had a couple of questions/issues during our stay and Denise was incredible with her fast responses and willingness to accommodate.

We made Denise’s apartment our home for six weeks and couldn’t be more satisfied. She was very responsive to any question we had and was helpful when the cable/internet went out (a storm knocked down the cable to the house). The stairs up to the apartment are a little steep and others commented that it is small but we hardly noticed the size. There is a large closet off the bedroom that I used an office during the stay and the WiFi was reliable when I needed to work The rental was perfect for me and my husband. If we need to be back in Rochester over night again, we’ll check this place first! Thanks Denise!

Cozy
House is very clean. There’s a lovely, comfortable and warm sitting room where we spent most of our time. Bathroom is very small, but not a problem for us. Denise is always available via phone/text to answer all our questions.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The home was clean, well cared for, and communication was great. It was close to everything we needed for our few day stay.

I desire an rental that makes me feel at home. That is what Denise has created. I loved the furniture, art work, linens, and quaintness of the place. Although we were there visiting Mayo, I wanted to just stay and hang out in the home. I can tell that the backyard space is very special in the spring/summer/fall. Loved all the beautiful homes and buildings in the area.
We found a special Irish pub that is fairly new to Rochester….check it out (near Mayo)….Ole Brick House.

Great communication from the host! Arrival was a breeze and when we needed to extend our stay a bit she was very accommodating. Awesome location, about two minutes to St Mary’s (and their shuttle downtown) and walkable to a grocery store and nearby restaurants. Very quiet given the proximity! Great for rest following medical appointments. Quaint, clean and just enough space to comfortably spread out. I especially appreciated the small pantry stocked with cooking essentials to make meals extra tasty. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if/when we return!

This rental is charming. The location couldn’t be better (sister was at St Marys campus), it was literally across the street. Owner was quick to respond and check in/out was easy. The owner helped make a very stressful weekend more pleasant.

A blessing during trials
This was a very comfortable place to stay in while we were in Rochester visiting the Mayo Clinic. We were able to walk to St. Mary's and take the shuttle to Mayo Clinic and the Gonda building. Having a comfortable home to come back to each day was a huge blessing.

I loved this place for one or two people. The bath is a little smaller but it works and I was thankful for the comfy bed great family room helpful owner and Market being so close and easy access. Will use in the future.

Cozy Home for Mayo Visit
Warm, welcoming upper flat very close to Mayo's hospital. Mayo Clinic a few minutes' drive away. Helicopter landing pad across the street, which did not bother me. Happy others needing emergency help were receiving these services. Would definitely stay here again! So convenient!
