The location is great. You can walk to the Old City and there are good restaurants nearby. The meals are simple and good. It is a very quiet place next to St George’s Cathedral and it has that vibe. There is a beautiful courtyard to sit or to have dinner. The room was good. The beds are comfortable except the pillows which are very firm. Great shower. The staff is quiet and very nice. It is a great getaway from the craziness of the big tourist hotels. Will definitely stay here again.
Only the pillows were not great and a late checkout is only until noon.

Nothing bad.

Convenient location; well kept grounds and garden is excellent to sit in. Breakfast is sufficient.
When I made the booking, I asked for a "quiet" room but this obviously turned out to not be possible if you book the Twin Room. The room itself is tiny and has one small single plane window which faces a very busy street. There is loud traffic from 5am until late at night. The room has bad soundproofing in terms of the rooms next to it - you can hear when someone uses the sink/shower and flushes their toilet. Bring ear plugs if you book this room. The two twin beds are not connectable. Overall not a comfortable experience.

We stayed in a recently renovated and supremely comfortable and clean room. Beds and linens were so comfortable. Room includes a refrigerator and hair dryer which is not standard in the area. Breakfast was wonderful

This property has a large site with amazing garden. The room is spacious all the more because the ceiling is high. Staff members helped me solve the trouble I got into due to the shortage of RavKav balance. Breakfast is also nice.

Awful costumer service. My wife could make it because she was sick and i try changing my booking weeks on advance and they couldnt help me. I had no internet on my room, the hairdryer never worked and i asked to solve and they didnt. They told me they were going to give me a compensation and they never did. Awfulll experience.

Authentic feel, really nice garden.
Location is not that great (but good enough - about 2 km from the old centre). Staff was very helpful but not always that professional.

Location, breakfast, easy to reach from the center and the train station
the room was really basic but ok - good value for the money

a very clean place with a quiet and nice garden.breakfast was nice although something things were already run out.
the staff is not unfriendly but also not very friendly or helpful. Bed was very hard and my back hurt after 2 nights

The hotel is as described: pretty historical common areas and basic rooms.
Breakfast is good but not amazing.
The location is not great if you want to visit other locations besides the old city. You will need to take taxis everywhere. You can't use your car because parking in Jerusalem is hell.
The closest old city gate to the hotel is in the Muslim quarter. Beware.
The neighborhood is not residential and feels deserted on weekends and alienating during the week.
The staff is just going through the motion. In the 3 days we were there, we didn't encounter one staff member with a personality.

Loved the historic building and proximity to the old city. Also great is getting to participate in morning church services. The room is beautiful, beds are very good albeit you have to like a hard mattress.Excellent dinner and breakfast
The staff seems not interested. The tables and chairs in the court are never cleaned despite being full of bird trappings.Only one ashtray, and even that is never being emptied. Why does reception never get off their chair and make sure lobby and courtyard are in order. Front of house in general makes a poor impression. On arrival you aren't asked if you want dinnner, they don't even know what time it's being served let alone what's being served. Selling stamps, postcards and public transport tickets, having a free map available are all standard in reception at an international level and none of it exists here. Way to go compared to the austrian hospice.
The room is kind of clean. Having removed tons of pubic hair behind the toilet and wiping the floor with a white towel does leave it greyish.
I am writing from the perspective of a hospitality professional, so in order to keep this in perspective I must say the hotel does perform above israeli average, which is rather poor compared to European standards.
What they really excel with is the chef and the quality and value of dinner.
