Dinner was good. Waiting team pleasant and efficient
Breakfast - timely and generous
Room - decor very good
Room - the bed in ‘Beckett’ was small and access limited, bedside tables very small. It was a little noisy as the restaurant closed down

We stayed in the Dickens room which had a cosy atmosphere even though it was quite spacious. The decor was very attractive, following current trends and was a good contrast to the character of this old building. The scheme continued into the bathroom which was clean with modern sanitary ware. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room at 8.30, with fresh museli and bread having been made in the kitchen downstairs. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings of our stay and the cooking was of a high standard. It is obviously enjoyed by locals as it was very full on both nights - a cold, windy and wet Monday and Tuesday in April! We were lucky that the management squeezed us in! If you intend to stay, I would recommend that you book in advance if you wish to eat at the Inn.
Parking is easy; there's a convenient car park literally yards away from the front door.
There is an underpass almost directly outside the building which takes you immediately right into the historic High street.
The Corner House is situated alongside a busy ring road and while the room we stayed in has secondary glazing, you can still hear the noise of the traffic, which is on the move almost continusously from early morning until late at night. It didn't disturb our sleep, but if you are a light sleeper, it would be wise to choose a room at the back.

Great location at top end of high street, across from the main bus station. Very good bar and restaurant downstairs with local pints. Comfortable room with a breakfast tray delivered to our door in the morning with toast, croissants, coffee, juice, bananas, and granola with yogurt. Room had a lot of character with exposed beams in the 16th century building. Friendly staff
Potential traffic noise depending on the room, but earplugs are provided and it didn't bother us at all even though our window (The Attic room) was facing the street.

Liked the property Liked the rooms location good for central Canterbury staff friendly and helpful also liked the breakfast served in your room. This is a really lovely 15th century coach house.
Wasn't keen on the continental breakfast would prefer option of a cooked breakfast also especially on the Saturday night can be a bit noisy outside our room late into the early hours but can put up with that.

We liked being made welcome on arrival by Matt, who has a real gift for this.
We liked the restaurant, which had very good food.
We liked the position, as by the underpass, we were immediately in the centre of Canterbury
We liked the fact the car was parked securely immediately behind the hotel.
We liked the staff, who were all really pleasant and helpful, all through our visit.
We didn’t like the stairs being brightly lit all night, which shine into our room
We didn’t like the creaking bed! Possibly the frame needed adjusting.

Comfortable room with a delicious restaurant and accommodating staff. Would recommend to anyone!
Bring earplugs! The street-facing rooms can get very noisy at night with folks about going to-and-from the local pubs.

Nice spacious room, nice bathroom facilities. Well located near shops, large bed, fridge, iron and hair dryer included. Breakfast included in price and very nice.
Close to road, windows overlooked busy road and people passing on street.
