My host, Liz was exceptionally helpful and informative. She provided me with coffee and breakfast, even though I did not ask for it. I found it a really nice gesture. Also, whenever I needed information about public transportation and its schedule, she was always available for questions. She even provided me with ideas for eating out and visiting Como. I can recommend her to other visitors and I hope to be her guest the next time I visit Como.

Water in bathroom was very strange. Pressure of water was pure for washing hair. The temperature of water was very hot or very cold, but it was unreal to make it warm or just normal.

The view from the balcony is amazing, could not wish for better. It is located near Ossuccio beach, which we enjoyed the best. The room is perfect for 2 people. Liz is a very kind host, she was always available and replied very quickly when we needed her. Staying there was a really nice part of our 6 day holiday in Lake Como.

The unobstructed lake views. The comfy beds and pillows. Complimentary snacks and water in the fridge. A few meters from the lake/beach, supermarket, pharmacy and other activities. Beautiful hike further up to the Sacro monti cathedral.The host was super friendly and very accommodating.

Trip too short.

The instructions before arrival made it really easy to get there and unload our luggage with minimal fuss. The room was immaculate and the view is surely one of the best imaginable. We met our host and she was absolutely lovely and was happy to offer us information on the local area.

That we only booked one night as we were only passing through. We wish we had time to stay longer!

The lack of air conditioning in the mid of July, but there were two fans.

There was no breakfast included but this was specified in the booking. The host, Liz, was very friendly and helpful, the location is excellent for both car transfers and on foot. The view from the bedroom was stunning. The room is reasonably sized, there was a fridge and space to keep folded clothes. Parking is very close by so very convenient.

Sadly no aircon which meant that it got very hot at night. I kept both windows open and the fan on to keep the air circulating, but there are also no mosquito nets so there were a few bugs flying around. Despite this, the stay was pleasant. I would probably recommend this location more during periods that are not high summer.

I liked a lot amazing lake view. Location is relatively close to the bus stop and some very nice restaurant by the lake. The room represented high standard and was very comfortable. Lovely assistance during my whole stay. Definitely the place I will return in the future.

Inredible view on the lake

The view was superb as described.

Extremely difficult to access unless you are a young fit backpacker. You had to unpack your care on an extremely steep and quite busy hill. The immediate neighbour would not even allow you to turn the car around on his land. The public parking is adequate if available but is approximately 120 metres down the hill from the property.

We’d like to thank Liz and Kate for absolutely astonishing experience at Como! Hotel is neat and tidy, room was spacious, equipped with everything you could possibly need for stay and with clean bathroom. One of the benefits of the property is the stunning lake view. Seriously, the best view i’ve ever seen, and you can enjoy it right from your balcony with a cup of morning coffee, or with a glass of wine in the evening. As one of the peculiarities i’d like to specially highlight the fountain with tasty drinking water from mountain source right in the yard of the hotel! You can get it to your water-bottle with you for a hike. Another great things are related to the location! The hotel is situated right on the Greenway del Lago, guiding you conveniently (avoiding march on the highway) and through the labyrinth of ancient stone streets and of all-shades-of-greenery ways to Lenno for the Balbianello Villa and Lenno ferry station (walking distance) to one side, or to Colonno for the walk passing by breathtaking views over the lake and neighbour towns with red roofs and church towers. There is another points of interest in the nearby, so no way to get bored there! :) Apart for walking routes there is good communication by bus, having bus stop just 3 mins away from the hotel. And once you are back to the hotel after the active day it’s so cosy to relax in the green garden or wonder around quiet neighbourhood. If you are travelling with kids, a nice park with a playground is located in a nearby. Hosts are extremely helpful and caring, provided us with all the needed guidances regarding parking, getting in on the way to the hotel, and with true hospitality at the place!

The hotel has an incredibly beautiful view. The room was simple but very clean. Staff very helpfulness.

The hot water was running very little.

The view is amazing, the hostess is very nice, there is complete silence and calmness. Highly recommend.
