About this villa rental
Vila Nuno is a lovely Algarvean villa set in private grounds complete with its own swimming pool. The villa has been extensively remodelled with an open plan look featuring a new kitchen and refurbished lounge/dining area. Bedrooms have been upgraded with new beds, mattresses and wardrobes while bathrooms have been fitted with new sanitary ware and showers. The external doors at the back of the property have also been replaced facilitating easier access and locking. The property is ideally located just a short stroll to the bustling and authentic fishing village of Olhos D'Agua with it’s many shops, supermarkets, restaurants and small bars. The wonderful beach is at the end of the village road, less than 1km from Vila Nuno. Olhos D'Agua is situated between Vilamoura and Albufeira with the former less than 15 mins by car and the latter just 7 to 8 mins away. The villa is a short drive from Faro Airport, not more than 35 mins. Golf courses are plentiful with the nearby 9 hole Sheraton Pine Cliffs while Vilamoura boasts no less than half a dozen courses. There are several water parks close by as is the excellent Zoo Marine with its famous Dolphin shows, all within a 25 min drive. The renowned Algarve Shopping complex in Guia is less than 20 mins by car as is the new IKEA (Mar) complex near Loule. The overall feeling within the gates of Vila Nuno is one of tranquility and peace. You can expect to wind down here and relax within the grounds and enjoy the privacy on offer. The villa is in a secure environment with electric entrance gates, security shutters on all windows and doors and a house alarm. The villa is set up to accommodate 6 but can take 8 as needed. In this instance camp beds are set up in each of the twin rooms to facilitate 3 persons in each room. The upper floor of the villa will always remain closed off during your stay as it is the private space of the owners. It will never be occupied during your stay. There is a £75 cleaning surcharge for parties of more than 6 persons.

Fabulous villa in a fabulous setting. Spotless and clean and all of the facilities provided where great. The owner was more than accommodating (Gerry) who helped us with several requests during our stay to make it smooth and easy. This is our 2nd time at Villa Nuno and loved it even more this time.

Overall a great experience. The communication before arrival was great so we knew information before hand. When arriving at the villa it was spotlessly clean and lovely. The garden was stunning and a perfect area to chill and have fun. All appliances were accessible in the villa. Close to the village so walkable to the shops & restaurants/bars. The pool was stunning, very clean & also had gardeners to come in on 1 day to do some general maintenance and give the pool a quick clean. It was also very private which was very nice as we felt more relaxed. Would highly recommend staying!

The villa looked as good as depicted in the photos and was clean and modern. The pool and garden provided us with many hours of fun and relaxation and we had some great BBQs outside. The villa is an 8 minute walk to the nearest shops and restaurants and a further 8 minutes walk to the lovely beach. The local restaurants are very good and there are a couple of well stocked supermarkets. The villa has air conditioning in the bedrooms which is almost essential in the high temperatures we experienced during the day in mid July. Overall we had a wonderful family holiday and would thoroughly recommend Villa Nuno.

The property itself was lovely and very well equipped on all fronts. Gerry was always available to answer any queries we had and to resolve any issues which were minuscule. Although the villa was only a 10 minute walk into Olhos we rated it 4 out of 5 as it was a difficult walk back up the hill from the supermarket when carrying groceries each day. Overall though a fantastic break was had by all the family.

This very spacious villa is like home from home with everything you need. The grounds and swimming pool are beautiful it is all kept to a very high standard with lots of seating areas.
Lots of good restaurants with in walking distance. Taxis near by if you do not want the walk back. This was our second visit and hope to return again. The owner is very helpful and quick to reply to your questions.
Highly recommend this villa for the perfect holiday.

We enjoyed 2.5 months in the Algarve during the first part of 2023. The home was an easy walk to restaurants, grocery stores and bars, as well as other small shops. The owner provided everything needed during our stay and the home was a wonderful place to relax in between touring and trips throughout the southern part of Portugal and to Spain. The beds were very comfortable which was especially appreciated due to our long stay....and our visitors staying in the rooms with single beds reported they provided a great night's sleep as well. Gerry (the owner) was always available and responsive when we contacted him with any questions or requests. We also really appreciated the central location of the villa to the rest of the Algarve and points of interest, as well as the close proximity to the Faro airport. The neighborhood is very quiet and the yard, pool, and view from upper balcony were spectacular and so appreciated throughout our time at the villa!

We have been to Olhos d’Agua 7 times over the years and this was by far the best holiday we’ve had. Vila Nuno was simply the best accommodation we’ve found in the Algarve.
The villa and its grounds, together with a gorgeous pool, were stunning and immaculately maintained. Everything we could ever need was provided within this beautifully furnished villa; we especially appreciated the outdoor table tennis which provided hours of fun in the sun.
We found the sun loungers (don’t forget to take your own beach towel) and outside rattan dining furniture in great condition and comfortable. There is also a superb in-built barbeque which we didn’t use of this occasion but would certainly make use of on a future visit.
The colourful flora surrounding the patio area is stunning but the leaves/petals required sweeping on a daily basis to prevent them blowing into the pool; this really wasn’t too much of a chore and provided some light exercise.
The location of the villa is perfect for a quiet relaxing and stress free holiday. It’s only a 10-minute downhill walk to the nearest restaurants and bars. There were plenty of taxis available if you didn’t fancy the walk back up the hill to the villa at the end of the night! We were glad we had taken a decent torch for the final few hundred metres which has no street lighting.
There are electric gates at the front entrance and an internal alarm for security to this secluded property which is well lit externally; however, it’s worth pointing out that we’ve never heard of any trouble during our many visits to Olhos.
Gerry, the owner of the villa, was extremely helpful and friendly before booking, during our holiday and even after our return home which was so reassuring and greatly appreciated.
We can absolutely recommend booking Vila Nuno and we can’t wait to return.

Great villa in superb location, villa was clean tidy and spacious. Gerry was great to deal with and any questions or issues dealt with quickly. We met a new friend a little cockatoo who came for a chat every day and s bit of bread will definitely return this is a gem of a villa and great town.

We have had an amazing time at Villa Nuno. Perfect location just 10 minutes away from the beach and restaurants. The villa itself is beautiful all open plan and very comfortable. Outside space is huge with the pool and well kept gardens and bbq for lazy days. 100% recommended you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful and well equipped villa
This is a lovely villa with private garden grounds in Olhos de Agua. It is well located for easy access to shops, supermarket and restaurants, and the beach just a little further but well worth the walk. The taxi rank is a few minutes away and always one or two there. The villa has everything you could need, including a good supply of books and games, and a great stock of logs for the wood burner, which you'll need for winter breaks. Very comfortable, clean and relaxing and we loved it.

Villa is wonderful with loads of space, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge and kitchen with fantastic facilities. Wifi good and AC in the 3 bedrooms. Extremely comfortable
Pool area equally impressive with reasonable size pool and plenty of surrounding space. To be honest we spent half our time at the Villa just chilling and half the time at one of the local beaches.
Everything well maintained and of high standard.
Olhos d'agua is a good little town with local beach but we preferred a 10 min drive to Priai da Oura with a better beach and some great cafe and restaurants.
Best property we have ever stayed in and would comfortably sleep 6 with a bed for everyone. The 4 of us were swimming in space.
The combination of excellent accommodation and pool / garden area, easy reach to local shops and great beaches within 10 minute drive makes it the perfect location
Owner was attentive beforehand sending good directions and welcomed us on arrival to show us the basics

Property is lovely
A bit difficult to review as the property was great, really spacious, new, everything you could want in the kitchen, bedrooms, pool area all amazing - other than heating! Unfortunately we had bad weather for most of the week (14 degrees and raining). Nothing whatsoever to do with the owner, however in these really rare instances there still needs to be some contingency. There were plenty of blankets etc for night time so no issue sleeping but we really struggled to heat the main room, it was our only issue all holiday (other than the weather itself) I suggested to the owner that they make available a portable heater in future and this suggestion was taken on board with no issues whatsoever. The owner is very nice and very helpful. The property is well maintained, wonderfully spacious outside, loads of room for the kids to play around and importantly it’s safe - and it has a smart TV for those rainy days!!! If we weren’t already booked for summer we would have re-booked. Will def consider for future holidays.

Fab villa
We had a fabulous time at villa Nuno it had everything you could possibly need and want everything had been thought of even down to an umbrella that was only needed for one day of our holiday.The villa was very clean and equipped with everything you need.There was a beautiful pool and lots of outside space very private not overlooked. Only a short walk to all the amenities and the beach. I would recommend this villa to anyone who enjoys a bit of luxury and peace and quite but also close to bars and restaurants best of both worlds. We shall return very soon. Dee & Martin

From the moment we arrived we were impressed. Very clean spacious and well kept villa. A few issues with the pool and persistent ants in the garden but soon resolved. In a lovely area with plenty to do if you want to. Wendy was always on hand if we needed her and the communication was excellent. A few points though the garden furniture was the white plastic chairs which would have been nicer if they were a little more substantial and comfy and the kitchen was not that well equipped if you were to cook a lot of meals in the villa. Overall a fantastic villa in a great location will be returning thank you Gerry

Paradise found
A beautiful spot in a private location with every amenity close by. This villa is very spacious, and well appointed. The large living and dining areas are great for group gatherings and indoor sessions. Great kitchen, fully appointed, and has a handy laundry room attached. The bathrooms are beautifully renovated and equipped with showers and tubs. Lots of privacy for guests - each bedroom has a patio door opening onto the pool area. The patio and garden offer great options for total relaxation, either lounging quietly with a book in your own space, or pool-side sunbathing with a regular dip in the beautiful pool to cool off. There are lots of pool toys and flotation beds, and plenty of space for the table tennis table. The patio table with umbrellas and lots of chairs is great for poolside dining. Pool is maintained regularly, and landscaping is done a couple of times per week.
The villa is located within walking distance from the village; a hopping place with a fantastic variety of restaurants. Great breakfasts followed by a stroll around the village or a walk on the beach before heading back to the villa for the afternoon was the order of the day. Taxi rank is only 5 mins. walk from the villa, but we only used it for going to nearby villages. Never felt unsafe walking around - even in the wee hours heading back to the villa.
We were a group of adults for the 1 week stay, and we all considered it to be the best holiday we've had. It's got everything you need for a memorable, enjoyable, comfortable say. We're already booked for a week this summer!

Best holiday
Villa Nuno is a fantastic location for a family holiday. We had teenagers and extended family; The villa itself is perfect, with lots of space, a well fitted kitchen for family meals, quality bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms looking out on stunning garden. The swimming pool is fantastic and very clean and well maintained and good deep end. We spent hours in water and sunbathing on comfortable outdoor beds. Sitting in the shade, under the portico, reading and watching colourful hoopoe bird on lawn and local farmer herding sheep in next field, was idyllic. Hard to believe that a 10 minute walk brought you to the bustling seafront and restaurants/small shops. Great swimming in Olhos and beaches close by. Stay by pool if surf running high, good life guards and flags will let you know when to stay out of water. There is a good supermarket about 5-7 mins walk and close enough to carry food home. A couple of great bakeries close too. Very good local taxi and minibus service collected us at the Villa and brought us to Albufeira, Guia Shopping (open late), Splashworld and local markets. Local buses run along the Algarve coast. Very good range of restaurants and Fratelli brothers Pizza had great atmosphere and excellent pizza. For the energetic there are good coastal paths. The location generally suits walkers and we stayed for 2 weeks without a car. There are some hills down by the sea but all very manageable. We also felt very safe walking home in the evenings and walking around the village and all very friendly. Small fishing fleet still operates from Olhos D’agua. I would highly recommend this Villa, hard to beat pool, impeccable garden, location, space and facilities.

A piece of heaven
A beautiful home and property, great location, and lovely part of Portugal. The villa is spacious, very comfortable, all the creature comforts you'd ever want, AND comes with a fantastic pool and patio. You don't even have to go to the beach, but if you do, there are some beauties within a 10 minutes' drive.
The villa is literally on the edge of town, which itself is within minutes of walking. This provides a nice break from the stresses of waking up late to a sunny Atlantic sky, or an afternoon of lazing around the pool amidst a soft breeze.
An ideal spot - we'll be coming back again!
