La bastide des Planets est un havre de douceur et de beauté. La maison et le jardin sont entretenus et décorés avec beaucoup de goût et de soin. Et quelle vue! Edward et Melinda sont accueillants, prévenants et discrets. Nous avons passé 15 jours parfaits! La maison est idéalement située entre les Issambres, l'Esterel et les Maures. Avec la piscine, le trampoline et la table de ping-pong, les enfants sont également très bien accueillis!

Wir verbrachten eine unglaublich schöne Zeit in einer fantastischen Umgebung im Grünen. Ein Trampolin erfreute die Kinder und die neu erstellte Lounge ermöglichte einen unverstellten Blick auf die untergehende Sonne.

The house is a restoration triumph. Really sensitively done to provide ample space for a large family.... we were 9 in total. The bedroom layout was great for 4 couples with a twin room for the solo! I was worried about the size of the pool for 7 energetic young adults but it was more than adequate. There is plenty to do a little further afield so we took the opportunity to go to St Tropez (busy and over-priced) would recommend St Maxine which is even closer. Lac du St Croix at the end of the Verdon Gorge was a great day out. We all enjoyed getting "home" where we cooked most evenings, probably the best equipped kitchen we've ever come across. It was lovely sitting out together with amazing views of Roquebrune hill/mountain as a backdrop. The weather was amazing 30 degrees plus. We would highly recommend. The only slight issue was the mosquitoes and we'd not prepared properly. If you use repellant they weren't an issue but would suggest use day one and not on day 2!!!! All in all we had a thoroughly relaxing holiday in a beautiful house.

A charming comfortable rustic old farmhouse run by a friendly couple ready to help. Location is the best of both worlds , in the countryside with views of mountains and close to epic beaches on the French Riviera .

Just had a terrific holiday at the Harland mansion. The house is beautifully situated between the river and vineyards within reach of so many activities (gorges, lake, beach, old towns or trendy boulevards). The house itself is well kept and immediately felt like home, each room a surprise. All utilities within a hands reach. The hosts Melinda and Eduard are very friendly and eager to help out if problems arise. The space around the house makes it able to walk around with our dogs without fear of having them run over which is a luxury nowadays. Altogether we had 2 beautiful weeks and definitely will return some day

A beautiful area of France where there was plenty to do. Swimming and kayaking on the lakes, cycling around the area, visiting the local towns, seeing the fireworks at Cannes and so much more!!! The property was perfect for two families and had everything that you could possibly need. Beautiful gardens and plenty of space to sit out and a pool to relax around. Gorgeous views. Thank you.

8 of us rented Melinda's house in Roquebrun to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was absolutely perfect for our needs: comfortable, beautiful, relaxing, well situated. Everyone said when we arrived that the house is more beautiful than in the pictures-- it really is! We were able to take many daytrips during the week: to the Porquerolles, Nice, Gorges du Verdon, and Cassis. We also spent some time just hanging out by the pool, and our meals cooked at home on the grill were some of the highlights of the trip. All in all, an incredible trip that we will remember forever. Thank you Melinda and family!!!

We stayed at the farmhouse in the last week in July.There were 5 adults, two teenagers and a 3 year old in on our trip. It's a fantastic house and Edward and Melinda have done an amazing job of restoring it. All the rooms were lovely and more than adequately equipped and there is aircon in most of the bedrooms.The kitchen has all the equipment you need and a great outside dining area with beer fridge and BBQ. We loved the pool and garden space.We borrowed bikes and could have used the kayaks but were too comfortable around the pool. The bakery is a nice 15 min walk away in town. The location is great as there is a water sport lake 10 mins walk if that down the road, a river which is great for kayaking and lots of supermarkets a short drive away. There is a mountain at the other end of the lake which is good for mountain bikes. You are 20 mins away from the great beaches and an hours drive inland to the stunning Gorge Du Verdon. A fantastic holiday and a hidden gem.

Group Size: 7 People Purpose of vacation: Golf We stayed at bastide des planets from 9th – 16th April 2017. Setting up the stay with the hosts Melinda and Edward was as easy as it gets: very short response time and straightforwardness during the reservation process whether by telephone or e-mail (they answered all e-mails and calls within an hour). At our arrival Melinda showed us around and explained everything in detail, from the gas oven in the kitchen, to the numerous and large rooms, the heating, the television, the well working wireless internet, the spacious garden and patio area with many different seating places (from shady to sunny, as you like it best) and the pool. On the patio on the 2nd floor you enjoy a beautiful view over the region of Roquebrune. We loved every bit of this place. The furnishing is classy, the kitchen is very well equipped and the beds are comfortable. There were two bedrooms with two single beds and three bedrooms with queen or king size beds, a large dining area, a separate living room and 4 bathrooms. More than enough space for a group of 7-10 individuals. Everything you need is nearby (a few minutes by car): Bakery and other small businesses at the village of Roquebrune (to your left if you leave bastide) or a rather large Inter Marché (French Supermarket) (to your right). If you are interested in golf there are several golf courses in close proximity (driving distance under 20 minutes), all very challenging and very well maintained. In summary we can highly recommend this place for your next trip to the region of Fréjus and we thank Melinda and Edward very much for having us.

The garden, house and pool provided lots of spacious and well equipped accommodation. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Definitely need a car to get to shops, beaches and other places. Fantastic beaches 20 minutes away and other places of interest. Definitely need mosquito spray and cream for the evenings. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to our family and friends for a holiday in the South of France. We spent many hours playing croquet, swimming, sunbathing and enjoying the garden. We're Two families with grand parents.Large beautiful garden with pool, BBQ area with fountain. The farmhouse was clean and renovated to a v. High standard. Cool during the hot day. Stone floors. Oozing character. Bedrooms were elegant and bathrooms to good standard and air conditioned which made sleeping easy. A family home with books games for children, Tv and all mod cons. Really private. Fantastic for two families. Kitchen equipt With everything you might need beautiful!!! A gem. The pictures don't do the place justice on the website. So much more to experience in the farmhouse. Good taste through out.. Thank you for such a memorable holiday and for all of the extras you provided for us. Definitely recommend to my other family and friends. They have been blown away by the photographs😲 The Pool was great to cool off and children played. Lidl 3 minutes by car nearby. Mossy spray needed for sitting out at night. Many thanks.

We have just returned from a super fortnights stay at this property as part of a celebration of a special birthday of my daughter. This a a lovely rustic farmhouse that has been beautifully restored and furnished by the owners ( who incidentally were charming and helpful) The extensive garden gave ample opportunity for eating outdoors with a super gas BBQ that we used on several occasions. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need including a big cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumbler dryer. Comfortable beds, lovely showers, towels for the bathrooms, and big towels for use round the pool. Food locally was fab, we ate several times at Le Basilic 26 euro set menu was brilliant value. The bakers down the road would not be out of out of place in the smartest parts of London. If you need some exercise after all that food and wine we played table tennis in the garden and boules of you can always cool off in the pool.

Our group of 6 stayed at the Farmhouse for a week in September 2014 and had an absolutely fantastic time with great weather. The accommodation and grounds really exceeded our expectations and we spent a lot of time enjoying the pool. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was spotlessly clean. The décor was lovely and the house has retained its traditional character whilst having modern bathroom suites. There was a 2 year old within our group and the house was child friendly too. The farmhouse is well located and a 20 minute stroll took us into the village of Roquebrune where there are a number of shops, bars and restaurants. We also walked to the nearby lake where there are activities such as pedaloes, mini-golf and canoeing. We enjoyed a trip to Sainte Maxime which was approximately a 20 minute drive, and then caught one of the boats that frequently go over to St Tropez where we indulged in a lovely (but expensive!) meal. We also did another trip to the nearby town of Frejus with its Roman amphitheatre. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we are considering another visit in the future. We stayed in this lovely property in the last week of July. We are a family of 7 including 2 children aged 3 and 5. The property exceeded our expectations and was set in beautiful, peaceful countryside. The pictures on the website don't really do the property justice! We all enjoyed watching the bats, the dragonflies and the amazing tree frogs and we even spotted a bee- eater. The property had everything to meet our needs with numerous outside seating areas to catch the sun. The pool was adequate with plenty of comfy sunbeds and shading to suit all. Ther were terraces off of 2 of the bedrooms with beautiful views. The property was well maintained with a mixture of old and contemporary. Everything was spotlessly clean and welcoming, the chilled bottle of wine in the fridge was most welcome. There were plenty of towels including beach towels. We visited various beaches all within about 20 mins, took the ferry From St Maxime to St Tropez and ate out once locally. We shopped locally at Intermarche and Liddls and our son used one of the house bikes to cycle to the local Boulangerie to get fresh bread in the mornings. I would thoroughly recommend this property and wished I could have stayed longer than one week.
