After traveling thru Italy for 3 weeks, we needed a few days to just relax and La Lira was definitely the place. By far the cleanest place, mordern as well. We were 7 of us, and booked 3 rooms. Each room was spacious and had its own balcony with some great views. The owner Valerio was awesome, accomodating and polite, his cousin Alessandro (Ibra look a like) was so welcoming and gave us a detailed mapped view of the city and places to eat.
This family owned bed n breakfast is one of the best places I have stayed at in all my travels.

Very close to airport. Helped book airport shuttle and were able to accommodate early breakfast for our group. Great Fiumicino location too - near canal and lots of restaurants. Very modern and clean.
A little tricky getting here from Rome by bus but the bus stop was very close.

Clean : everything is basic, room rather small but very clean
it’s good if you want to stay for one night and to the airport the next morning but not for a long stay, as there is nothing around.

Valerio the owner, was very welcoming and friendly. He organised the shuttle service, recommended a nearby restaurant and made us a coffee on arrival due to the fact that the breakfast service was not available at our early departure hour.
As breakfast was included but we were an early departure at 6 am to meet our flight, it would be great if guests had tea and coffee making facilities in the room or the ability to use the nearby kitchen, or even better, if a takeaway breakfast box with a juice could be supplied for those guests that need to leave early

The receptionist is really nice.
The must-check out time is too early. The breakfast is too light and simple when consider the price of nearly 100 /night. It is not worth of the the payment. It took me a long time to get hot water.
