Günstig gelegen, 5 Min bis zur Innenstadt.
Um Trinkgeld bettelt man nicht schon auf dem Anmeldeschein. Dies gebe ich freiwillig wenn ich zufrieden bin. Leider sieht man das Personal nur zum etwas dürftigen Frühstück. Dieses ist trotzdem sehr freundlich.
Das Zimmer war leider nicht sehr sauber (Toilette war nicht gereinigt, Spinnweben in fast jeder Ecke... so kann man eben nicht zufrieden sein!

Zimmer und Betreuung durch die 'Hausleute' - sehr gut. Hotel liegt sehr zentrumsnah - etwas oberhalb des Sees. Älteres Haus, jedoch nett renoviert!

Our booking was changed to Hotel Rocket Rooms in Velden due to unexpected technical problems. the hotel informed us a few days before and offered us comparable substitute hotel. communication was fast and easy.

Description on booking.com is not quite true. There is self check-in - what is not mentioned. When I arrived the reception was closed, I DID NOT get information about self check-in, and no one could help with the lack of place on parking. There is no electric kettle at room, no mini bar. The main entrance is open all the time and there is no reception at night - so anyone from outside can enter. When I send message to the hotel via booking.com app - they responded after 2 days. Poor managing staff. Hotel should rethink changing description on booking.com as the mentioned options are not true.

Staff is friendly, curly haired lady does very nice fruit platters at breakfast. The hotel is located few steps away from the centre of the town centre. The hotel has its own parking places and one can also park in front of the hotel.
There was nobody at the reception in the afternoons (only at breakfast times).
Even though the hotel has a garden with s lot of potential the equipment (chair/sofa seats, umbrellas) do not seem to be maintained and are unusable at this point. The private beach is nearby and has around 10 sunbeds (also not well maintained) and JUST 2 small umbrellas. We ended up going to the Stadtstrand. With tourist card one gets a reduction on the entrance fee. Note that the hotel issues the card only on demand. We have mentioned twice to the staff at the reception that two lamps in our room were not working. During our 6 days stay that was not fixed.

Dirty bathroom upon arrival... long black hairs (!!!) in the shower... complete no go!
Room was booked and paid for 3 persons, only one bed was made. When called to inform the reception staff about both the hair and the beds, the lady was more defensive (that she just left the premises and can only come later etc) rather than apologetic. Also insisting that I only booked a room for 2, when I clearly booked 3 persons. Not enough towels not toilet paper.
